Is the data speed limited ?

Is the data speed limited ?

Nope, Red entertainment plans have no speed restrictions
Nice I’m paying 5£ a month effective for 40 go with Vodafone with no speed caps
Or if someone pays for spotify this works out under £6 monthly.

Its not really £14/month though, as it’s a 24 month contract, unless you get £144 cash back in year 2?

If you don’t, surely it’s actually £20/month equivalent?
Isn't this a 12 month contract (there's 24 months in the title)?
It's 12 month
It’s the title that threw me, I’ve just clicked through and it’s 12 months!

Perfect timing for me as I was just about to go for 20gb at £15/month

Yeah my bad! It's 12 months
I signed up on the 100gb Red Entertainment fonehouse deal about 6 months ago. It has been brilliant and I just received my latest (incredibly easy to claim) cash back yesterday. The effective price being something like £14. Recommended!

Good to hear its that simple.
But Vodafone speeds are awful when you move from EE fast speeds

Not in my SW16 area.
Not in my FY20
This is the agony of choosing a provider; either oversubscription or coverage blackspots can exist or start anywhere - heaven forbid you should want to move home/job, find a new favourite bar, meet a friend from a new area, etc. just months into a 2 year contract. Heck the service can deteriorate somewhere it was fine overnight - three openly admit having service issues in my postcode for months now!

If only we had voted for comrade Jeremy - he could nationalise the networks & make all masts available to all!

Generally EE seems safest, but that is why they are dearest & even they have problem areas, like where I work (generally a passable internet speed until I need to do something urgent)!
Currently on vodaphone and end of contract - any idea how i can keep my number?

Buy a pay & go sim of a different network, port out to that & back in to Vodafone. Should only take a couple of days.
Wonder why no mobiles Sims deals are offered if you pay a year upfront ?
I'm currently on vodafone PAYG, would I be eligable for this deal, including the cash back?

Yes you can just buy the new contract and port your number from Fonehouse. I do it every year with mobiles.co.uk on the family contracts as Vodafone never give a decent retention deal.

I believe you can port Vodafone Paygo to Vodafone Contract. You might want to check with them first. If not, just port your Paygo to another network then back in to your new Vodafone Contract. I do that every year porting Vodafone Contract -> Three Paygo -> New Vodafone Contract. Takes about 5 days total, provided you start on a Monday (ports don't happen over weekend).

The registration system is terrible, took me 2 months to get registed on their portal.
Just about to sumbit my first cash back request on a similar deal from them, so see how that goes now I can login!
I tried doing this by moving to Voxi and back to Vodafone. Was an absolute nightmare with Voxi and they messed up and their customer support is all chat based so even m or e annoying. I never had data for the entire time I was with them, their online account login doesn’t work, pitting took a lot of chasing up, etc. Hoping my experience was isolated but if you can , choose another provider to temporarily move your number and then back to Vodafone if you want to go for this deal.

Your getting this for 5G check your coverage around your area first.

Best network for 5G right now is EE. They have fastest speed and best coverage. Other networks are very behind right now. Poor 5G.

Transfer number to a pay as you go SIM that's not Vodafone then transfer back to Vodafone which works 100%. Although can't remember clearly i think there's an option on the Vodafone website when you purchase the contract to input old number and it does it automatically. As i don't remember doing the long method last year but could be mistaken.
id be keen on this deal, but I am trying to get roaming in US and Canada- doesn't look like this is covered with this plan.
I just switched from EE to O2 and I really cannot bare O2. The speeds are shockingly poor and have yet to find their 5G speeds match my EE 4G.
Curious why this says both on the listing and on the website that the roaming is only to 48 countries. With Red Entertainment you usually get 77 countries (including USA, which is why I use it). It's another bonus to Red Ent. packages along with the media subscription. Maybe a misprint on fonehouse or perhaps the deal is somehow different. I'd verify that, though, before signing up. Actually, I just noticed on Vodafone's site "Red Entertainment has changed We no longer sell Red Entertainment plans as of 10 July 2019. But if you do have a Red Entertainment plan, you’ll still get all the benefits until the end of your plan, including inclusive roaming in 77 destinations, 500 UK to EU minutes and your choice of entertainment." So you'll see that some entertainment plans are only 48 whereas the new unlimited max plans include the 77 and therefore USA and others. vodafone.co.uk/mob…als
I am on Vodafone (Direct), can I still port my number to Voda (fonehouse)?

No, but you could get a cheap PAYG sim and port via that one for a little bit of faff.

Where's that deal!?
Confused - what do folks say - This at £14 a month or hotukdeals.com/dea…321 at £10 a month - looks like you are essentially paying £4 for the entertainment (Now Tv/Spotify/Prime/ Sky Sports Mobile) ?

They should contact you soon and offer you a retention deal. They called me today and offered me this deal for £20 a month
I don't know if you can do this now but I joined BT Mobile for effectively £5.83 a month on a 12 month SIM only contract, giving me 50GB data, unlimited minutes and texts at £15 a month. It's effectively £5.83 a month because of the £70 cashback and £40 prepaid MasterCard they give you. Really good deal I thought.
EE are doing £27 for 100gb unlimited minutes and texts, no speed caps because EE don't have none
Just get on the phone to EE. I got a 100gb 12 month deal for 20 quids in minutes
if you go directly you get 100min to call eu (it was 500 on my old contract), but I don't see anything about it on this website? (not roaming, free minutes in your package)
