Seems like a great deal here, I never minded cashback or Vodafone (all things considered) and I’m sure this is what I’ll do next year. Better than getting lumbered with O2 for 24 months which is what happened, never thought I’d miss having functional signal and internet that much!
Heat for a good deal, I have had the 20gb entertainment plan via mobile.co.uk works out at £15/month after cashback. So this is even better. Hope when I need to renew this deal is about. Vodafone service and reception has been great for me and cashback process is simple
Try this from the French hotdeals. It will not compare because it's French deal and the full data does'nt travel but wowser if you're French.
5 euro a month 30gb unlimited calls/texts allows mifi.....

Great price
Wow. If you’re already paying for Spotify then this works out at £4 a month!
At time of this post the total cost of deal (£300) is not mentioned in deal title. No mention of redemption requirement in deal title.

I pay for the family plan on Spotify. Would they apply a discount if I took one of these plans out with Vodafone? (already on their network)
Its time for vodafone and others to copy Three and O2 to give thier customer s reward on app like wuntu and o2 priority.

I’d rather they focussed on their network - O2 and Three are basically not usable in the cities I visit whereas EE and Vodafone are fine. Some freebies are not enough to tempt me to one network or another.
3rd time this has been posted in less than a month.

I prefer Vodafone's method of giving you something you're actually likely to use, rather than some odd job freebie every other week.

Also, I for one could never stand in a queue and ask for a free coffee or free packet of crisps.
Has anyone already taken this contract and can tell us what it’s like, e.g. whether it was smooth and easy to get the Spotify Premium (or whatever you chose) and whether the claim for cashback was reliable? Cheers!(embarrassed)

Yes no probs at all.
Did this last year, had Spotify for a year and cashback is a breeze.
Just got a Tesco PAYG sim to port my number over to get the same deal this year.
Thanks! Had a word with both Mobiles and Vodafone. Mobiles say this plan definitely gets you Spotify, while Vodafone said it does not. Apparently only plans bought directly with them get the entertainment offer. I’m very confused!

Yes and yes. One bit of advice I would give if your porting your number wait until its complete before applying for your chosen entertainment pack. I didn't and it caused a billing error, bwhich was sorted and compensated by Vodafone easily. You can also get nowtv entertainment bundle, sky sports app or amazon prime video instead of Spotify

Quite possibly a Vodafone employee trying to get the commission for selling you the contract. Compare mobiles.co.uk sim to the ones on the Vodafone site if they are like for like excluding the cash back element you will get your choice of entertainment package. Done this for the last 2 years through mobiles.co.uk and got Spotify

Ah good old British pride! Why have it for free when you can pay - to be honest I would miss my Tuesday Nero I think but they might remove it any moment like they did with Monday lunches just after I signed up (not that I was using PAYG SIMs before).

I agree though, Vodafone has better perks and the network is overall better on all levels, it’s only the customer service that blows, so just hope you don’t ever need it.

No issues with recent cashback claims from this merchant, but same as with phones4u: you will lose all cashback entitlement if the merchant ceases trading.

Ported to a similar deal last year from Tesco, and have now gone past my 12 months. So...if I get a pac code from Voda and switch to a Tesco payg card and simultaneously take out a new Voda contract with mobiles.co.uk...how long do I have to wait until porting it to the new Voda contract?

Is it a faff setting up another my Vodafone account? Definitely sounds like a sensible thing to do, but I also have Vodafone fibre (which appears on the same bill) and can forsee a billing nightmare

I can never upload my claims, the submit button never works, can you please explain to me how you are doing it?

What browser & device
What file type

I had been onto them and even they can not solve it, keep having to use messenger to submit my claims but they really do not like me doing it, be glad when its over!

I have done it, they can merge your mobile to your fibre account after the port has completed, just takes a few days and is a little bit of faf

PDF to local PC storage. Firefox to view the cashback page and selectfile / submit button. Shouldn't be an issue unless you have some unhelpful Firefox add-on / extension, or unhelpful add-on if using some other browser.
I walked into a Vodafone store today and asked about this. He tried to make it sound unreliable and difficult to do. He is a salesman though! I’ve tried numerous times to get Vodafone to bring the price down if taken out with them directly, and they refused. It was worth a try seeing as some people on here have managed to get the deal significantly cheaper through live chat. Does anyone know if you still get the redemption cashback if you’ve also bought the deal through Quidco?

Just so you know if you go for Spotify it's a new account, you can't add it to a premium one you have already or upgrade a free one. They make you create a new spotify account. You can use mooval.de to transfer your playlists.

This wasn't the case when I signed up last year. From what I recall, I had to cancel the premium subscription on Spotify before linking it up again. That said it took three calls to Vodafone to sort out the entertainment pack.
Cancelling Voda contract this week then going to take out this contract......still need to port despite being same network right?
I've been with 02 for about 15 years but now looking to take up this deal. Can someone please confirm the best/easiest/quickest way to port the number over? Thanks

Speak to 02 tell them you want to leave and give you the PAC code. Sign up for this deal and when prompted click keep your number and type in your PAC code.

Thank you!
I have 1 month left on my contract with Three. Three have been ok but data speeds in London haven't been that great.
This offer is really tempting.
More so than the similar EE deal as I don't need music as already have a shared Spotify family plan which I contribute only £2.50 per month for. At least with this I could choose Amazon Video.
I have just got my PAC off Three.. God that was difficult.. first time I have had to request one from Three and retentions were quite aggressive.
Just don't know whether I should wait till nearer the end of my contract before getting this deal as I don't want to pay double for 1 month but equally worried that this deal may expire.

Mobiles.co.uk webpage states that the Vodafone flash sale must end Monday, but not sure if this includes sim only deals...I won't be taking any chances!
Has anyone successfully got this deal including entertainment>?
Voda said it's excluding entertainment,

I took a similar deal last year (red entertainment) and chose sky sports mobile which was fine. This was via e2save (same people). Vodafone will try to put you off, as they make more money out of you as a direct customer.

You will get a mobile entertainment pack with the 30GB package.
My sim card came through the post today
I can confirm you get to choose an entertainment pack.

Just done a speed test and I am getting 20.9 down compared with 1.08 from Three so I am happy.
My sim card arrived today too Already with Vodafone on another contract, do will be porting that number across to Three PAYG shortly before porting back to the new contract.
How does the redemption work? Not something I've ever done before..

Seems a good deal, I was considering the 20gb (£25pm but I get the advantage discount @ 15%) taking it to £21.25.

This deal does seem better but I don't want hassle!
Hey - if someone could offer me a little bit of help it would be much appreciated!

I have never done one of these cashback deals, the plan i'm on now with iD the money is automatically taken out of my account, is it similar to this plan? or do i have to screenshot the bill and upload it to somewhere and how often?
