Worse company ever! - Signed up to this plan 3 months since ago and they only gave me 20GB data. Tried to complain, but they don’t log complaints and take ages to respond via email. If you try and phone them then when you eventually get through(normally after 20/30 minutes of being on hold) they just fob you off!

Had to go to Vodaphone directly to get anywhere, who said that they couldn’t put me on the tariff that Fonehouse had sold me because it wasn’t available. In the end they agreed to cancel my contract free of charge and put me on the unlimited data plan(with 10mbps speed cap) for the same price

Great deal, if you are disciplined to make your claims at the right time. I am just coming to the end of one of these deals and the claims process is pretty easy, I just have reminders set in my calendar.

One concern I had was what happens if FoneHouse go bust during the contract, you would still need to pay the main provider at full rate and not be able to claim cash back.
You can do online claims with Mobiles.co.uk too, been doing it for the past year. Extremely easy to do.

My only experience with Fonehouse was terrible when the P30 Pro launched so wouldn't be going back to them in a hurry.
Cheaper at mobiles.co.uk and even cheaper at affordable mobiles if you can deal with the possibility of postal claims.
Not very happy with fonehouse, fair enough the iPhone Pro Max was a mistake deal but my £80 upfront cost is yet to be refunded well over a week after it was taken and not fulfiled
I am over one year on sim contract. No problems. Cashback pay very fast to my bank account
had 4 of my 5 cashback payments so far on the £30 unlimited data plan, was a lifesaver on a recent holiday to south africa
I have just placed an order with £132 cashback and just a minute later cashback changed to £150. What should I do now?
Best connectivity experienced with VODA. Recommended
I'm still waiting for a cashback payment from Fonehouse even after speaking to them last week and them confirming that I had uploaded the correct bill a month ago. First time I've ever had any hassle getting cashback from a mobile contract.
Does anyone know, Can I buy 5 of these and still get the cash back for all 5 when I sign up?
Anyway of deferring start date? Already have Vodafone sim only contract via fonehouse due to end in July

I think so, my wife bought for myself and her (2) last year and gets cashback for both
Great deal but I'm still too wary about the viability of this company to risk having to shell out the full £20 per month.

I've had a Vodafone contract through them for 9 months and have had no issues with cashback claims. All done online and no hassle.

If you keep worrying and don't give them business, they will definitely go under!
Now this is amazing deal! Thanks OP(y) !

Usually me I’m transferring old nr to three pay as you go then to new vodafone sim card, only one worse thing is that you have to call to Vodafone and ask for pac code... all process taking about 30 min. Good luck!

Now you need not call. Just send txt message. PAC number after few seconds.
@Dan_82 good to know this is a hukd special deal!

Just taken this 2 weeks ago, from the previous thread.

However, later, the fonehouse account started showing as £96 cash back. (Email stated full £150)

Could you get clarity from fonehouse please?

What kind of problem? I am doing the same, already ported to 3. One more step.
I'm considering using Fonehouse, but what I gather from these threads is it will either 1) work OK, or 2) There will be an issue and Fonehouse are too inept to ever resolve it. Quite the gamble.

Yes, the contract for the service is with Vodaphone. However, Fonehouse are responsible for submitting the correct tariff information to Vodaphone!

If they don’t do this then Vodaphone think you have signed up to a different tariff. It’s like Fonehouse selling you an unlimited data plan, but telling Vodaphone that you have signed up for a 20GB data plan. That’s ultimately Fonehouse’s responsibility!

Did you create a My 3 account once you received the SIM?

new.three.co.uk/acc…gin

When I did that, it showed the SIM status as active. Then I filled the number transfer form. Once the porting was complete, I received a text confirmation.

The online My 3 account showed the changed number.

No I did not make any calls, as I don't have any balance. Although I made some calls/text to the 3 number, just to check.

For porting out from 3, I will use the text based ofcom text-to-switch method to get the PAC, which is a free text, so should work.

The whole point is to avoid talking to customer service.

I think if you take it straight from fonehouse website, it will be straightforward. If you are moving from a non Vodafone network, the porting is going to be very simple. You obviously have to be organised to claim as per schedule - but there is great reward, if you can (£7.50 or £9 pm instead of £21). I used them earlier, without issues.

The issues are occurring, when we took the hidden hukd deal.

I hadn't created an account. I have now and it's all sorted. Many thanks. I've done this a few times in the past and don't remember doing this previously, but I imagine I'm just super forgetful...

My porting was completed Wednesday. I have checked that both accounts reflect correctly (Vodafone forgot about it, and 3 knows it, and calls/text are received ok).

As per rules, porting is completed in the next working day (I applied on Tuesday).

So I am very tempted to request to next port today (before 5pm), to get all complete before the weekend.
