It is cheap... but with Vodafone - whose awful customer service in my experience doesn’t make it worth getting... worth paying a bit more for a company who knows how to treat people. Might be fine, as long as you never have to interact with the company. I have tried a couple of cheap Vodafone deals over the years, all have ended with a long set of complaints
Was with talk talk and my phone and broadband wend down, called their customer service on my mobile and was up and running again within two hours with a one month refund.

Same thing happened with Vodafone, took 10 days to repair with no compensation other than a refund for the days it was down. Even their complaints department is in India.

Truly terrible customer service.
If their broadband CS is anything like the Mobile CS then I would not recommend. Unfortunately Vodafone is my employer's preferred supplier so I get a discount and I stick with them year after, in the hope that I don't have to deal with them. But when I do, it is a right pain in the bottom every single time.

Strange that works when I click the link, might be worth going through the whole MSE route from their homepage.
Great deal, I pay £22.50 and didn't get any of these extras. Reliable broadband for me, i get the speed i pay for. Well worth IMO. Voted hot.
The terms and conditions for this offer are totally on the side of vodaphone you are signing to agree that they can retract the offer if they feel you haven’t confirmed to all t&c’s. Too much work and hoops to jump through. Why not give voucher when contract is signed ? Don’t trust them .
Including line rental ?

Their routers is utter s*it though.constant issues with wifi.wired is ok
No amount of vouchers and gifts is worth a terrible service
Good reliable broadband. Got Fibre 1 a few months ago when on offer fir £21 with £90 topcashback. I recommend you get your own vdsl router as the one supplied keeps disconnecting and the wifi range is bad. It kills the speed as well. Now Im using TPLink router and havent had a single problem since.

Can you place the order now but to start a month or so later?
Vodafone have some of the worst customer service I've experienced. The router they provide is also terrible, the connection is fine however. I'm using an unlocked homehub and it solved all the problems.

Such as? I was with Talk Talk, was a nightmare. I am with Vodafone now, and I agree with you, their CS is not great. But still miles better than TT. It seems everything is fine, until you ring them. Is this not the same with other companies too? Sadly!
Thank you OP. Ordered. Perfect timing
Am currently with BT, 12 months into an 18 month deal where I pay £1/month plus line rental (£18.32/month prepaid) for slow (11 Mbps) unlimited BB & weekend calls.

Got a letter yesterday from BT saying we're eligible for an 18 month free upgrade to fibre. Rang up, asked a few questions & yes, provided I re-contract for 18 more months, I get the fibre upgrade plus w/e calls for the same price I'm paying now (£19.32/month). Apparently there are no additional connection charges & they ship a free modem.

Although I don't need fast speeds for what we do, I thought it was a decent deal & signed up.

How did you unlock the home hub?
A serial port has to be soldered to the back of the motherboard and reflashed with custom firmware called Openwrt.
You can purchase an unlocked router for around £15 on ebay, definitely worth it in my opinion.

Me 2 .... good question
TCB £120/£130 cashback on 18 Month EE fibre broadband. Offer runs out 10am Sunday 18th .

topcashback.co.uk/hub…lus
Switched over Tuesday with the £22 (18 month) offer and Amazon Echo 2, happy with the speeds, still in the 10 day sync period. But comparable to SSE, who I was with the past 4 years. May need to boost the wifi signal to reach up the garden for my Smartfire Temp Controller though, which I didn't need to do with SSE

Well Vodafone has the title of most complained about network for...8 YEARS running!!

But you are right... looking at the Ofcom data, talk talk is very poor too.

I am giving EE a try next.
