Worst experience ever. Left before 30 days. Despite a promise of 70Mbps minimum I was receiving 5Mbps. Customer service seemed like they had no records of previous conversations. And despite being told things were being fixed nothing was happening.

I'm still in contract so will have to wait
Might check this out as mines has gone up again on a rolling contract. Not too happy at the prices for just broadband alone. Wonder if they might offer me something.

Can only speak about my own experiences. No such problems for me and consistent speeds. 2 teenagers gaming and no problems streaming at same time. I also got a free month as I inadvertently hung up and they assumed it was their fault. I'll take that for customer service!
Nice, I managed to get my Fibre 1 broadband down to £17.85 on a 18 month contract and yes I am an existing customer.

Sounds like that is more of a problem with BT Openreach.
One of my broadband contracts is up in about 3 weeks. Think I’ll contact them tomorrow to see if can wangle this deal to save some money.

You are probably right. Something didn't seem right. It was just their efforts in resolving it that were atrocious.

Agreed. I had Superfast 1 since Vodafone relaunched broadband and was very happy with the speed. Recently switched to Superfast 2 service and now struggling to get 5Mbps most of the time, when I used to regularly get 27Mbps or more.
They do **** all for their loyal customers

Yeah I agree, fair comment.. their standard router isn't brilliant. I got a netgear nighthawk router and that's been fantastic. Didn't have any problems getting the config info from Vodafone and I've got full house coverage on both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz.

Oh yes the router. What a pile of shit. Beamforcing adaptive technology, signal couldn't travel out of one room into the next. With only a hollow wood door in the way. With TalkTalk now, despite their problems they are miles ahead of Vodafone.
Hi all, paying atm 28 £ , speed dropped from 74 to 60 in my area in 1 year , can somebody check the dsl status under the Vodafone settings they are fastpath or inbetwin . Sorry my English

Yes sounds familiar
their router sucks! also got disconnect even moving rooms, signal is really bad
If the broadband isn’t reaching the guaranteed speed on voda, go on the broadband app on your phone and report it and you get 15% off your bill until it’s fixed
Just joined "superfast 2" package not impressed router is pants, I've had to reset the thing countless times. Not getting the 70mb most of the time went as low as 1mb! But might be more to it then just Vodafone BTs infrastructure might also be to blame.

Got this same deal myself last month with £30 credit too. At first wasn't getting the speeds I was promised but hats off to them, discounted my next bill 15% and had an engineer out within 2 days to fix the issue.

Heard a few complaints about Vodafone but since I joined them over 18 months ago, been first class.

Don't get me started on Talktalk
Does this include line rental or do in have to pay BT etc for a landline on top??

Yes, this includes line rental.
We have several products with them, but at renewal time its funny how none of those products qualify for the lower start price! It means we get treated like a non customer with no discounts off the price to re-contract.......can get Virgin 108mb for £18.75 so won`t be sorry to tell them where to go.

Service has been good on Superfast 1 though

Good luck with virgin! Just about to leave this fish an chip supplier...

Customer service is beyond a bloody joke. An if there's a issue they read the same bloody script to you every time. Nothing but grief and always looking to get a few more ££ out of you to recertify the issue.

Good luck.

I TOTALLY agree with this statement as I have cases with CISAS going through now. We have 100mb Virgin already so its will just be a price to quote to Vodafone if they continue the hard line they are taking at present.

Likewise Vodafone just paid me £80 for wasting 4 hours of my time "going around the houses"

Guess youv`e been told to phone 789 to sort it ( which doesn`t work )

Or being patronised about how it only affects 250,000 customers so isn`t a problem

They came fitted mine Christmas eve
Upto 36mbps speed they said .
First week around 25mbps.
Then
Ive never had it past 10 after that.
With only one device connected too
And with Ethernet cable.
Utter sh....from day one.
And customer service had me trying defferent setting with channels and thing
Saying just try it for couple of days knowing my 30 cool down was nearly up.
Disgraceful from a company that ive feel i had third party service.
Be careful as good at first then crap.
It's the router that is 99.9% at fault, Change router and it's very stable. Vodafone's router is definitely the worse ISP router I've had the experience of.

Some people mention there sync speed is right but they're getting terrible speeds, That will 99.9% be the router at fault.

Completely agree with this, mine's working flawlessly through a Netgear Nighthawk router but the standard vodafone one was horrendous.

I have contract till sep so today only 15 pounds for one pound
Tempted was with virgin 100 Meg and was getting around 10 Meg peak times due to over utilised line.
Been with BT for 18 months and had constant 70 Meg but they charge 45 a month..voda use same lines but much cheaper so may have to try them out from what I read the routers are similar
I was with Vodafone for 18 months with no problems, rang them up to see what retention offers they had and was given nothing. 😣 I have bit the bullet and gone with talk talk and touch wood all is going well, infact my kids are raving that the WiFi upstairs has significantly improved 😁
