I've posted this deal this afternoon and it was removed. I was told it was the same deal as the previous one from the 30th Dec! Although mine mentioned the £50 Quidco bonus plus the £100 cashback! Won't bother posting deals again.

Any feedback on the quality of service?

The price is certainly HOT & even better @£21 per month if you have a contact vodafone mobile contract.

They have a new router now and things have changed for better.
Does it include phone line rental?
fast internet but terrible drop outs. Really bad. I regret having it
We had a terrible time with our switch over....but once switched, service has been great and it's cheap. We were compensated for the switching issues too. Our WiFi is supplied via our tenda nova mesh system, so don't use the WiFi from the Voda router. Speeds are better than what we had with our previous supplier too. I'd recommend...

Performance is okay and connection actually quite stable. The router is okay and the app that controls the router has some very good features, but is a bit glitchy. Customer service (tech team) is in my experience much better than reported, just avoid ‘live chat’, they are hopeless. I’ve been with them for two months now and I get just short of the minimum guaranteed speed of 55Mb/sec. They are actively trying to fix the issue including two Openreach visits. A little disappointing that I don’t quite get the speeds promised, but customer service not that bad in my experience.

So you had to buy something for £60 previously which ensured it worked?

If it does then it is the deal of the decade IF Vodafone deliver the service.

No, we previously had this for WiFi coverage issues. Can't comment on how the wifi is from the Voda router...

I think it will, when I went through to purchase it, it said if I logged in it would be £21.

Dreadful. I had constant line drops that were so bad I eventually got Vodafone to release me from my contract after 4 months. At its worst
I had 7 line drops during one Netflix film. Customer service was dreadful. Avoid like the plague.
Be careful, I have my mobile with Vodafone and I rang customer service today and as usual they managed to mess me around and I got nowhere. Good prices and a good service when running but the fun starts when you need to speak to somebody........
I moved to Vodafone from Virgin in September (on the £21/month deal). I've had excellent broadband at 76Mbps. Six of us in the house using Netflix etc and not had any issues. Very happy with the money I'm saving!

Took the plunge. BT would not deal so taken the chance on Voda. Awesome savings if it works £20 a month for me and hopefully £150 quidco.

I regularly find that the speed measured by the App on WiFi is far higher than the speed measured by an independent site ( such as broadbandspeedchecker) using a network cable into my laptop. It's almost as though Vodafone are exaggerating their own network speed.

Anybody else noticed this?

Yes sometimes there is a variation in the WiFi speed and the speed shown in an app. But mostly I was happy when touching 50mbps.,

I have "superfast 2" and only get ~30mbs. I originally was getting ~40mb well below advertised so spoke to customer support who said, it wasn't possible to get faster speeds at my address so I have the 15% discount for the duration of my contract... Would rather get the promised minimum speed.... Since then its gradually dropped to 30mb

To be fair it doesn't matter who connects the wires up. It is openreach unless you are with virgin. The connection of wires doesn't matter. The performance of the router makes this a deal or no deal.

I’ve just joined and apart from a delayed connection (BT issue and rectified brilliantly by Vodafone) the service is good so far. I would note though that the router doesn’t offer quite the same wide coverage of a modern Sky router.

We tried Vodafone and it was absolutely awful. We were previously with BT but their customer service was so bad we wanted to try someone new and Vodafone had the best deal at the time.

We never received more than 1mbps after the first day. Every device connected seemed to be limited in speeds, as if each device was sharing the 1mbps between them.

I phoned them daily and they kept telling me to try the same routine each day to try speeding it up. Almost as if resetting the router, disconnecting and reconnecting each and every device was normal procure to use the internet.

We cancelled and received a full refund before the 14 day period was up. They were more helpful throughout the cancellation process than they were at trying to resolve the issues we faced. The guy I spoke to didn't even try to keep me as a customer and he didn't seem the least bit surprised that their broadband service wasn't very up to scratch.

We went with EE shortly after and we were back up to 35Mbps+ speeds within a day.

Vodafone might be great for mobile internet, but they weren't very good at providing us with standard broadband speeds, let alone the fibre we signed up for.

been on Vodafone superfast 2 for over 4 months now, consistently getting over 65Mb/s, only had a handful of dropouts but resolved themselves in a few minutes, Router is quite good, compared to ones supplied by other service providers, Never had to call CS so can't comment on that, billing and cutover have been spot on.

I had this exact issue with them but couldn't get the automatic compensation they offer as I was using my own router. This was to prevent the drop outs caused by their dreadful free router. Each time I plugged the voda router in to check the speed it gave an exaggerated figure, as though they were prioritising their traffic to give a false speed

Which router did Vodafone provide you with, the WiFi Hub?

There was a website or app to see which broadband is good in your area. It was quite accurate actually and voda was listed as good in mine so wanted to try them. I can't remember the website or app name. Someone here suggested it to me. I'll see later today if I can find the original Voda thread.

The mods do stupid things and we can't identify which moron it is. There's a few not fit for this job easy as it is. I remember the subway subsquad they allow you to add people so everyone gets extra points. I posted this and I got a message to say I was trying to profit. Later another mod reinstated it but the same 1st stupid one removed it. I asked how is it different to Amazon prime sharing or netflix or YouTube etc it's not. If anything the subsquad is more legit than the rest. Few days later someone else posted the same subsquad thread and it's still here. Imagine retailers removed their staff name badges and you get rubbish service, how are they going to know about it and take action. Ridiculous.
