V-Multi Tracker by Vodafone
TrackiSafe Mini

"3 months free subscription (if activated by 31 December 2019) and then £4 per month."
It says save £6 ( three months subscription ) , but also says £4 a month.........not good math
I have this. Its only £2 per month and it works really well.

It runs through 3-modes of location to track the device, wifi, gsm and then gps and gives a very accurate location within a couple of feet. I use it with one of the included cases stuck/hidden inside my scooter as a tracker in case any little *$£%& nicks it. It also alerts me is it moves even a couple of inches and also has speed alert so if it moves over X mph it alerts you on your phone.

The battery life depends on how you use it, if you have it set to send location every minute or ten minutes it will drain in about 24 hours but I have mine set to every hour and it lasts 4-5 days. Also alerts you when battery is low and charges up in about 20 minutes.

It also has an SOS button which I'm not sure what its purpose is but I suppose you could use it as a safety device so you can alert family to your location if the situation ever came up.

Definitely value for money.
Can you swap the sim card?

Yep this is exactly how I am using mine but in my truck, it's such a good deal and works really well. The SOS button is set up via the tracker app, you can set it so if you press it, the device will send an SOS message to specific contacts you select.

I just logged back in and got a flame deer, so it has helped with the deer stalking lol!
You can freeze the payments aswell , for example if you use it in your car and your going away and it won’t be used ( locked away safe) then you can freeze your subscription and then just start it up again when you are using the traki again!
I can't see where it says £2 a month for the subscription all I get is £4 a month.
Has anyone used this to track their kids?

Yes , I use this for my daughter to see when she's left school.
It doesn't connect instant to give accurate location soon after coming out the building, it will cycle gprs/wifi/gps until it cycles to gps the location could be anywhere near like as much as 1/4 mile away.

I was looking at Fitbit but apparently it doesn't do live tracking. Also looked at Tile keyfob which isn't a true GPS solution. What brand watch do you recommend?

No you use trackisafe app to track it through Vodafone
speeedt5r:

My understanding is that the vsim provides 2G data for communication with servers and this is handled by Vodafone. The tracking app Trackisafe has nothing to do with Vodafone. Vsim is just fancy name for 2G simcard with speeds sufficient for IoT gadgets.

So if I can swap the card for free 200MB Three card that should work as well, if only there is access to the sun card in the device.

Could be good if you fit it discreetly in a car in the unfortunate event of it being stolen

Says Battery life Average 1-2 days.
Does anyone know how it could be fitted in a car, I mean where can it get power from as they include a usb cable?

Hello, I can only speak from my experience, I am on day 3 of owning mine, still at above 70% battery power without charging, however it comes with a USB charger cable and magnetic charging end, so a normal USB car charger works just fine. You can leave it plugged in and charging, for a more stealth hideaway just hard wire it into a 12v supply cable. It's really really easy to fit either way.

Just on chat with customer service agent, seems like they ran out of stock. No one contacted me and it’s not going to be delivered for one more week. Really disappointing.

Thanks for the reply. Yes disappointing but can't really grumble as it was free anyway. Hope it does come though as it's a great device that my friend will get good use of. Happy Christmas.
