Had one of these about a year ago and went back after a week and a half useless, if its the same as i had it flicks between a GPRS signal and the 3G signal not to bad when on 3G but once it goes to GPRS signal well go make your tea have a shower have a chat to your friends and by then it might have downloaded a internet page for you mine spent 90% of the time on a GPRS signal.

Are you sure credit expires after 30 days? Vodafone normally dont have an expiry on your credit which makes it best deal for occasional use.

product page specifically states:
"Includes £15 TopUp which gives you 3GB of data and lasts for up to 30 days. "
no mention of subsequent top-up life.

Unfortunately that deal went AWOL just before Christmas, credit now expires in 30 :x

Just to confirm, any Top Up and Go modem bought from Vodafone before the 26th December 2009 will not have the 30 day expiry. If purchased after this date then the 30 days expiry will apply.

so this stick is 30 days .. anyone who bought the old stick is still no 30 day restriction :-)

i got the old one and been using it on long train journeys since last may !!!! excellent gadget

so if i bought the one on say play.com @ £30 (white dongle) which is advertised as no expiry would that still apply?

edit: And its £25 on Amazon free postage
