I don't think you have the option to purchase at the end of the 36 months; reckon it's a case of hand it back and start over with a new contract for a new car

It's the same deal effectively... mine includes the VAT, yours doesn't plus yours doesn't have the eight 'free' optional extras which includes the extra two rear seats

You could buy it from Drive the Deal for £15.5k and have no mileage restriction and i reckon the car would be worth more than £6800 at the end of the 3 years.

Not voting either way.

guys, what happens with cosmetic damage on the car when you return it?

imagine some big scratches on the car. who will be responsible?

yeah that's very true... this option gives people who don't wish to have the high initial capital outlay what is effectively three years 'new car' warranty covered motoring for £8639.64. Different strokes for different folks I guess... still a good deal though

within reason the hire company exercises discretion on chips and scratches at the end of the term... most people shouldn't have any problems... substantial damage would have to be fixed by their approved repairer and put through the customer's insurance pretty much the same as if the car belonged to you

Yawn, I can hardly contain my indifference!

hardly 'indifferent' if you take the time to comment lol

Sounds interesting. My car is getting a bit tired. Any idea what power and economy is like? 1.6 engine seems a bit small for such a big car.

Just added heat but it keeps getting colder, strange...

Not for a modern engine, especially a Turbo Diesel.

These deals seem like a good idea but from experience, I dont think so. For £8640 you can buy a nice used motor that will do the job just fine which will belong to you after three (or a bit longer after you have added interest) years. If you are hell bent on buying a new car (which is total economic suicide) then go for a straight purchase, preferably without a PX and get some cheap finance - keep the car for a good few years and enjoy it............

Changing a car every 2 - 3 years really is a very bad idea (unless you are me in which case i will buy it from you after you have absorbed the worst of the depreciation).

Found it cheaper on this ste

Still a good option to buy a car as you dont have the hassle of fixing it when it breaks as new cars have warranty

I guess you're right. Will probably stick with my car a little longer. These deals make it too easy to "upgrade".
Unusual for this sight, I've been talked out of spending money!!!

I have this car and its pretty good! The 1.6 makes it good to run on fuel and reduces insurances.
