I havent run the lease vs. buy maths on this one but it looks to me like a lot of car for £6.5k on a 2 year 8k lease. Base model spec but that still comes with tons of toys and What Car put this in the same class as a 5 Series and A6.

These are cars already in the build pipeline so you wont be able to add options and you would need to be able to take delivery no later than December 19.

How is that even remotely similar? :/
£6,582.24 ÷ £37,335 ×100 = 17.6%

You're unlikely to find a similar specced A6, 5 Series, E Class or whatever at this price.

Smart looking car
Looks like this deal is going hot. Lot of car for not a lot of money, it's got to be worth some serious consideration !

I was hoping someone did the math for me!

Great deal OP

This is a great car. Depreciation is super high so leasing is a great option (I was told the same by Volvo sales rep who had this car)
A hot deal! I went for the S60 deal posted on here and was delivered last week, and am in love with the new volvo designs! The interior is really where these things shine against their rivals.
Decent price on the V90, too?

anyone used this company before?

No, the lower the percentage the better. You are comparing the total lease cost vs RRP as a percentage. It is generally agreed that anything below 25% is good, below 20% is excellent.

On any given car you're looking to lose as little money as possible on depreciation. New cars can lose as much 50% or 60% of list price in the first 2 years. So for this lease to only lose (cost) 17.6% is considerably less expensive than buying the same car outright.

Even with the £8k discounts available from internet brokers this lease is still only costing 22.3% of its discounted price.

The best lease deals on here tend to be where the lease cost is around 20% of list price or lower, or for cars that aren't available with big discounts.

It's 24 monthly payments with but the 1st payment is equivalent to 3 months worth.
If the payment profile was 9+23 then the 1st payment would be 9 months worth of the normal monthly outlay, but you'd still only have 24 payments.
Needs a rear windscreen wiper. And looks even nicer in r-design trim.Apart from that great deal on a really nice car.

Lots of new cars now come without a rear windscreen wiper. Our X4 did too.
Thanks OP I’ve just applied for it as my Classic Mercedes is giving up the ghost.

Off topic but you technically do look at the hearth while your poking the fire. You don't look at the mantle piece though.

I know right?! It's always been a thing on big saloons. Which is where you need rear visibility most. And there's no standard rear camera on this.

Is it fair to say that based on what you've said leasing is only a good deal if your alternative to leasing is buying a brand new car? I would never consider buying brand new, so not sure I should consider leasing. If cars are losing 50-60% of list price in 2 years, it seems like a better option would be to buy a two year old one for 40% of list price.
