Good prices - cheapest currently available. Nice find!

Do we guys know what is the excess mileage on this motor per mile?

Limited height in the back seats, difficult to access the back seats making it bad for people with kids and people who want to use the back seats!

Not bad for a £17500 car, the interior up front is nice.

A similar deal on last week with 8000 miles.

Yes I posted that deal which is now expired. This is a new deal which a different broker has started today

Ask Pure - no specific prices in their T&Cs.

The similar deal this week with 8k miles per annum is better. It's directly from a Volvo dealer with no silly fees on top.

Excess mileage is 10.4p.

If that is the case, one is better off getting a more suitable mileage allowance. The difference between 10k and 12k works out to be 6ppm.

It’s limited in the front as well wouldn’t class myself as tall but the inside space is pretty poor all round put us off buying it.

I would try it and see if you can live with it, looks a great car but I am a lot smaller than you

I suppose you could always access them by opening the rear doors in this five door?

I don't agree with this comment. I had this as a hired car in Portugal during the summer and the size was plenty enough for myself, wife and two kids in the back seat in their car seats. Had no issues getting them in and out of the especially with this being a 5 door car?

Don't get me wrong, the car was hardly brilliant as the auto box in mine was terrible but the rear space, boot and interior quality was absolutely fine for a car of this grade.

Total rubbish. Im 6ft1 and front seats are fine-and the back is in no way limited like other person stated.

Try opening the back doors then

To give a comparison, ive just got back from holiday where we had a Ford Focus as a hire car, and there was a lot more room up front in my v40 than the Focus, and the 2 kids of nearly teen age said the same about the back-and the Focus is supposed to be one of the best in its class.

Leasing cars is for stupid people with no financial awareness. There, I’ve said it.

do we know what colour this is going to get delivered in?

looks to have incresed in price already.

If you’re after a deal why not buy a 3-4 year old car?

Just because it's right for you doesn't mean it's right for everyone.

Different folks, different strokes...

sorry thought we lived in a civilised country where we are allowed our own opionions without being given grief for it from you. you might be used to being hemmed in but we arent and its just not for us, it wont be good for others but as long as you are ok thats all that matters.

checking reviews autoexpress says the below so guess we arent the only ones, it may also have been we were sitting in a panoramic model which has an even lower ceiling but there just isnt the space for us we are happy you not so much

Leg room, head room & passenger spaceThe V40 is a little on the cramped side in the rear. Getting in and out can be a bit awkward, due to the size of the front seats which can get in the way of your feet. Once in, passengers will find comfortable seats but not an abundance of space.

Headroom is particularly tight for taller occupants, and if those in the front are tall, they may have to slide their seats forward a bit to free up kneeroom in the back – not something you normally expect in a family five-door.

Not everybody can afford to do that. I don't have savings due to just buying a house. I don't want to spend £500 on a car so a lease works out perfectly for me.

Also, some people don't want a used car, even if it did work out cheaper. Why do people buy new clothes when they could get them cheaper from car boot sales? Because people want some things NEW!

reminds of the old days when people thought it was a good idea to rent electrical appliances like TV's and washing machines Eventually they realised renting was a mugs game.

And you believe all reviews??

I have one of these, so i know how much room there is. Not an opinion, but fact.

Why the anger my friend, just because you aren’t agreed with, doesn’t have to make you so aggressive, one question mark would have been sufficient. You don’t agree, I don’t agree, great no need to have a stroke about it it’s only a shopping forum. My fact is it’s to small you fact is it just right, Goldilocks prefers it smaller can’t keep ever one happy all of the time. End of the day it’s just a car, don’t worry about it.

No anger at all. But it frustates me when people are giving opinions on things they dont own or fully know about. You cant argue the facts/numbers etc. I know how tall i am, and know how much space there is in both the front and back in everyday use, compared to a reviewer who has spent very little time in it-and we know certain reviewers or magazines can be biased one way or another. Id just hate someone is put off by inaccurate information. Im not banging the drum for Volvo in any way, in fact ive had lots of problems with my D2 version, and wouldnt recommend it at all. This being the petrol though, is probably the best one to get-but in the R-Design spec. Ive only ever had family size hatchbacks, and this has more than most.
