Substantially cheaper at £342.45/net/mth vs. £399.57/net/mth
Had my V90 R Sport D4 for a couple of months now a very capable and safe family wagon, build quality is really up there with the Germans and looks damn good on the road but Christ is it boring to drive.

Found mine for 6 + 23 @ £240 pm (can't recall if there was an admin fee) 10k miles per year.

Be aware that this engine requires a service every 12 months unlike my previous lease vehicles which have been every 2 years so for the past 6 years I have handed 3 vehicles back without having to pay for a service.

Whilst this is a lease and you'd obviously want to get away with the fewest services possible, it's still staggering how manufacturers push this two year servicing regime. Every car, regardless of what the manufacturer says, needs an oil and filter change at least every twelve months or every 10,000 miles, whichever comes first. That's why BMW got into a whole heap of mess with their N47 debacle.

What makes you say its boring to drive i find them fun my favourite part turning on auto pilot and letting it drive and seeing how far it can go before i have to take over the steering, the screen is similar to a tesla setup with plenty of cool options and well equipt and if you have a t8 or d5 they have plenty of pull i get them screeching round bends on lanes ect... but ive never understood how any car can be boring to drive if your driving it right and on the right roads any cars fun to see how far you can push it

If you have a vehicle on a 24 month lease and the first service is not required within that period (as per the manufacturers service handbook or lack of service indicator) why would you pay to get it done when your not required to?

The car is collected goes to auction and I would assume the new owner gets the service done or not who cares not my problem!

You miss my point. I'm not suggesting you should get it done. I'm questioning as to why manufacturers still persist with long-life regimes given past issues.

Getting the car to drive itself whilst on the motorway unfortunately lacks a bit to much driver involvement for me, yes it is relaxing whilst on a long journey but boring!

Yes it's full of tech but very little of which is there to enhance the driving experience.

I do not have T8 or D5 so I don't now what it is like to drive one of these.

I agree in as much that if you a prepared to drive like a massive cock any car can give you some sort of thrill.

Camry is on its way back as Toyota are dropping the Avensis (now that was a boring car)

As for the Matiz now that was a fun and interesting car to drive, small, light, peppy engine and tiny skinny tyres made you feel like Dave Starsky at 30mph

Consider me a massive cock then all part of being a delivery driver, you drive slow you go home late and dont see your kids for long and yeah ive had some great times in a matiz
You guys missed out on the MY 2018 one of these.
I picked up the V90 D4 R Design with 20" Rims and a Reverse camera for £2500 initial rental and £209 a month.

The D4 Momentum for 18 months was £1999 initial and £179 a month.

There was also no admin fee as it was direct from a Volvo dealership.
I would recommend going to a Volvo dealership with this offer and seeing if they can beat it. They matched my offer from another Volvo dealership.

It's a nice car, MPG isn't anywhere near what is quoted and significantly worse than my old C Class but maybe that is something to do with how much I use the Pilot Assist to do most of the motorway driving for me.
