all of the top comments are wrong:

1. you don't pay VED on a lease
2. the mpg of this is officially 42.2mpg, maybe you will only get 30mpg, not sure; the engine was changed in 2015 from a much less efficient model, so old figures are totally irrelevant.
3. 8000/20 = 400, not 800, but anyway you maybe get 30mpg, rather than 45mpg on a diesel. 266 gallons @ £5.44 = £1436 vs 177 gallons at £5.55 £982. Around £40/month difference inf uel comments

What does the initial rental mean? Is it what you pay upfront as a deposit but don't get back? Cheers

Very nice deal. Heat added.

Good deal. Voted hot.

Why they are using a brown car to sell it is beyond me!

WoW !!!

If you are thinking of buying a car like this then I suggest you do so before 1st April when the road tax will increase from £180 to an eye watering £500 !

Cars registered before 1st April will also likely command a much higher residual value as a result of the ridiculous road tax increases.

Thoughtful

One of the problems with lease deals, you just don't know what offer's on next.

Enjoying the car?

17.5mpg according to Honest John's Real MPG site.

A lot of car for the money without a doubt, and heat added, but remember it's a 9 year old model now, with a new one imminent.

not one of the dealers stand over the cost advertised on that site. had two quotes for a Kia Sportage today and they were approx £40/month higher than advertised. false advertising!!!!!!

Very good, especially as its an auto and there are next to no good deals on autos.

Might pop to a dealer to have a look at one.

Sounds about right for a 2 tonne vehicle with 245bhp and a 0-62mph in 7.2s.

Very good dea l. Paying 320 for the new Tiguan and this is a much better deal

Doesn't sound so bad if you say it will be between £40-£50 of petrol a week.

Apparently, brown is currently the most popular colour for new vehicles. Used to be black a few years ago, then white more recently and now, brown.

I have the Diesel D5 of this and paid a lot more before they started discounting it. Hands on the best vehicle I've driven in 20 plus years of motoring - and I've driven a fair few new ones via leases.

yes

8000 miles per annum at 20mpg = 800 gallons of jungle juice. At £5 per gallon = £4k. 40mpg would be £2k. So comparable deal for diesel would be £83.33 per month more, £281.77 per month if diesel deal would be equivalent. Still a cheap car. Just need to factor in the fuel compared to the overall cost. Not bad for a 35k car

Oh my.... That's not good.

Got a quote from Mill Volvo. Terms are slightly different but better in my opinion. They quoted me 6 + 23 @ £221.34 per month + £664.02 initial. Total cost of £5754.84.
