I needed to place a TV on the wall with a setup of 400mm x 300mm mounting holes with the type of movement offered by this wall bracket.

Many X type mounts don't allow odd setups of mounting on them, it will always be equidistant measurements ie 400mm x 400mm or 300mm x 300mm.

This bracket allows full X & Y axis mounting between range of 200mm to 400mm. On Amazon there is the exact same bracket by Invision going for £25.99, Link:- http://www.amazon.co.uk/Invision®-Wall-Mount-Bracket-Cantilever/dp/B00393KNVQ

Sturdy design, all bits included to complete the job. Movement on bracket is smooth and effortless.

All together very happen with purchase and thought would share on HUK.

More info on the Amazon item page on features & specs.

Cheers! :D, I've edited into post 1 why I thought this was way better than the other type of X mount TV wall brackets.

Mounted a 42" Panasonic Plasma weighing in @ approx 20kgs on this and really impressed!

cracking bit of kit, bought one at 19, and the other at 12.95 makes 55 inch tv look like its floating in mid air and at 12.95 would cost more to post it given the weight of the thing

Totally agree , both me & partner were like this oO for several minutes thinking it would just fall off the wall! even though it's hung on a brick wall.

Perfect timing for this recommendation. Thanks op.

Thanks

I have one of these and they are great. BUT, do not use the wall screws they provide, shockingly useless. I purchased some proper wall anchors, which are always recommended for wall mounting TV's. The provided screws are more suited to hanging a clock

Something such as rigifix M6 mountings will keep you TV hung securely for years

perfect timing op thank you so much been bugging the other half to but one for ages so I'm taking matters into my own hands.

just to confirm though this is a cantilever one right? so you can adjust up, down, left, right.

Sorry only left/right movement on arm and in/out from wall. Where the wall bracket arm meet the TV mounting plate it has limited tilt up/down feature but you lock into place with nut after adjustment done. It also has a leveling feature there and you lock via nut.

Ah I see thanks for that, know any good cantilever ones to look for?

I sent this bracket back as i found if the tv was level when bracket was extended once pushed back to the wall the tv sat out of square. Got a more expensive double arm from titan, much better build quality and tv stays level throughout. Annoying as had to patch up the holes in the wall and repaint.

better off getting this one as its dual arm and ultra slim for £19.99:

I noticed this when I first finished installation but after a readjust on the back of the mount TV was level when extended and only very slightly out when against the wall.

Thanks, may help someone else but not me , you see my TV has 400mm x 300mm mounting holes and that X plate would not work on it.
