I do love a cheese and branston pickle toastie - nothing like molten cheese dribbling down your chin!

Thought this was a good price as takes up less worktop / gadget cupboard space being 3 in 1 and you get a 2 year guarantee too.

Price is £19.99 but use code POSE20 at checkout to get it for £15.99 delivered.

Makes 2 rounds of toasted sandwiches with the sandwich plate attachement, 2 big waffles with the waffle iron and you can grill meat and veg or make panini's with the grill insert. All are non stick plates with quick release clips and you can bung them in the dishwasher too.

Great for students heading to uni?

Size: 23.4 x 23.3 x 9.3cm
Power: 700W

Well you can't really go wrong with a toastie maker and its non stick as well plus you can put the plates in the dishwasher, plus you can use stale baguettes to make paninis too. So cheap to make as well. Used to raid the jars at the back of the fridge and use pickles, gherkins, chutneys and stuff - stilton and red onion was a good combo

orderd heat added nice bargain i believe for 3 different options.
Thank you
Can this be used as a 'health grill' for frying burgers? I was looking at the George Foreman with removable plates but that is considerably more than this.

It’s not angled down like the George foreman one so must stay in the channels until you empty / clean it

I dont mind angling it. My last george foreman was impossible to clean and I had scratched the plates clean. I swore I'd never buy another that didnt have removable plates.
I have this, but note that the clip is not for locking when in use. Only for storage (unlike the Breville ones). This is plastic and alot of people are breaking them. hence why they put on a sticker as they are then not liable....

"This is for storage only" even the manufacturer knows that this product will end up in a back a cupboard after a week of use lol, I know I'll make a few times and say "I'm too lazy, I might use you again" *collects dust*
OMG
i want it so badly!
34571631-9JTV0.jpgLooks cheap anyway and probably will break in weeks
Save hassle and buy something decent imo
I use this one regularly. Not had a problem with it so far

You absolutely can go wrong with one.

I bought one from Tesco that was actively dangerous to use. when you opened the top it didn't so much as stay open as balance precariously. Quite often it would fall back down as you were removing a sarnie, the hot surface coming down on the back of your hand. It also had really shallow plates and didn't seem to get hot enough so it took ages to toast the bread.
Finally a multi use kitchen item that may get used lol

I bought a Breville toastie maker because its clip seemed the most robust of all... I hope the photo shows my dashed dreams.
By coincidence, I have a VonShef large waffle maker, and am super impressed with it. Of course one would not exert force on the clip of a waffle like one might with a toastie maker, but it seems to me that the clip/handle mechanism on my VonShef Waffle maker is far more robust than that of the Breville Toastie maker.
in short, I would always choose VonShef over Breville for quality, and the fact that VonShef is normally cheaper is just a bonus. And this looks like a really handy, multi-use implement.

Do you have a VonShef toastie maker or another toastie maker?
I used to have something similar and I thought it was great. Then I got another toastie maker and made the mistake of not getting one with plates that can be swapped out. I look upon it in sadness now. The toasties are nice, sure, and I enjoy them a lot but often wonder what could have been had it lived up to its potential. Ahhhh that's not fair, I can't blame the machine, it is my fault for not getting the right one. Still... it could be such a good piece of kit if only I could swap the plates.

One day I'll replace it, I know, but for now it's just deep filled toasties with a 1980s sea shell design for me.

I was looking at that but I can’t see where the grease/fat will drip down to . Looks like it’s flat and not slanted
worth it for that price and the 2 year guarantee.
Was in the market for a waffle iron, for this price it's got to be worth a punt. Thanks OP.
I have this EXACT model but it’s branded Ambiano. I bought it instore at Aldi a couple of months ago for £12.99, but bought my daughter one the other week reduced to £9.99 at the Culverhouse Cross Cardiff store - not sure if they have any left? Ours is used loads especially by the kids and it’s really good - easy to clean etc..with the removable plates. Might be worth a look out in your local if you’re in there

Nowadays too many eBay accounts seem to be compromised. Had to deal with a few myself too. Very frustrating. OP seems to be a good and reliable deal.

As long as you pay by PayPal there's no problem but I do wonder what people get out of doing things like that on eBay, Amazon and similar places.
Terrible, doesn’t heat for ages and gives you soggy lumps. Only breville does a good job and are worth
