Boiling hot deal but you've cracked too many eggs jokes.
Bet you were scrambling around trying to think of some.
Good on you for soldering on though.
I'd join in, but I'm afraid I'd be poached by comedy scouts.

Just kidding it's because I'm too chicken.

I would usually agree as I hate pointless kitchen gadgets, BUT, I work 12 hour shifts, and start early, and have one of these at work so I can have a boiled egg or 2 for breakfast. So this gadget does have a use IMO

Heat just for the jokes!

Generally i would moan and say why not just use a pot and some hot water but this has some nice touches like the steaming and the poacher so quite a good little gadget!

The question is does it really produce runny eggs yolks - I need ma buttered soldiers dipped into a lovely runny yolk with some salt and pepper on top lol

Makes omellettes in seconds too so even better.

Oven hob uses a colossal amount of leccie to boil eggs so this i actually a pretty good leccie energy saving device!
360 watts compared to 2 or 4 kilowatts which is the power your average ceramic hob ring uses!
Save the planet lol

When I’m at work I don’t have a cooker but I have one of these
I have one of these, it is aces, Mon-Fri i live in a 'mess' overseas, no access to cookers, 12 months use and no issues whatsoever.
7 eggs? 8 would seem like a more useful number.

Oh lord...did I just say that?

Super efficient (almost instant boiling); one-button operation (no need to keep an eye on timer); perfect results every time. Greatest kitchen gadget ever, gets used every single morning.
Any body with one of these- does it have a timer, or automatic switch off? Or do you have to watch over it?
Does it do omelettes?
Found the answer in the website description:
"Automatic power turn off and over-temperature protection functions provide you with the safety and peace of mind you need in a kitchen appliance."
Ordered
Thanks OP
Just ordered thanks

Like a toastie maker - you’ll use it once and then it’ll end up in a cupboard until it goes on offer again in a couple of years and you buy another!

It uses almost no water and as a result, very little electricity. Yeah it'll take about 3 years to pay for itself, but perfect eggs each time and very little wastage, I am happy.
Any one who owns one
Does it have any settings for soft boil or hard boil? Or do we just keep guessing?
This will look eggcellent amongst to my George forman grill, nutribullet, breadmaker, halogen oven, spiraliser collection of used daily essential kitchen gadgets,If only by worktop wasn't so small.
lol dont these things take like 40+ minuets to make a boiled egg, you can just boil it in less than 10 mins or better yet poach it , use boiled water form the kettle first a lot quicker.
Does anyone know if you can set this to boil eggs in morning by timer or WiFi plug?
takes a lot less than 40+ minutes, about 3-4 minutes, as its been said, uses very little water and leccy, ours looks the same but different make, gets used every day for over a year, never fails, downside is the yolk is always hard, tried to get a runny one but the white was also runny

Or if you are really tight just boil your eggs in the kettle as its boiling.
Mind you i find it requires precisely 3 min and 37 secs to get the perfect balance between runny yolk and hard albumen!

Yes indeed you are right...6! But...Hmmm family of 4...2 eggs each = 8 eggs. They just took an average. That’s just plain lazy of em!
I challenge anyone to make a better poached egg than me 😁🥚

Average family is 2,.4 people that might throw a spanner in the works
Does anyone do machines to peel them as well?
