Great for making soft, fluffy rice without the worry of under or over cooking on the hob. Also perfect for making polenta, quinoa and couscous.

Incredibly easy to use - just add rice and water, pop in the microwave then tuck in! Instructions and cooking guidelines are included.

Made from high quality food grade BPA-free plastic in a contemporary teal shade. Clear vented lid enables proper steam circulation and moisture retention, to ensure rice is cooked evenly for a super-tasty end result. The lid features carry handles for safe removal plus locking clips to keep it securely in place.

Generous 2.23L (2230ml) capacity can produce just the right amount for a snack, side dish or as part of a main meal. Max cooking capacity: 700ml.

how long do these take to cook? I got an electric rice cooker but hardly ever use it as it takes over half an hour whereas I can boil in a pan in ten minutes

Doesn't seem much. I use the Sistema and the rice is much better than boiled (even my wife eats it when done this way!).

Maybe it's my microwave, but mine usually takes about 15 mins to cook (it's a flat bed which may give wider distribution of power- 1000W).
This does have a measuring cup, though...
I have the Kitchencraft one. Works well but does tend to overspill if recommended water used. Does this one or the Sistema do the same please?

Well, this one is OOS.

I regularly overfill the Sistema one using 200g/550ml and that tends to bring it close to the cover. It has never gone above the internal cover.
