I've not had this quad version but I had a double one before and they really don't compare to the round ones that rotate. Much better.

I've got tried that. Thanks will give it a go, about time I used the soda stream again.
I'm using my every day for chaffles... solid piece of it. For decent regular waffles you want heavy stuff, the heavier the better. This one is dencent in that aspect.
Waffles also freeze well so you can make a big batch and just put them in the toaster to defrost and warm up again.
