You stole Gita's heart , damn you Bantu ! Cold
Honest opinion...

I hate this bike...
Far too heavy and slow..

Borrowed from my Bro too replace a similar bike and it now takes 20-30% longer for the same distance journeys.

Really tough ride and not smooth at all.

Only an opinion but I hate it.
Link not working.
I've got this bike paid 450 but with 10% off for British cycling membership. Its got me into mountain biking and out with a new crowd of great lads. It's the bottom spec voodoo but hell of alot of fun. At 370 it's a steal!
Caw! What a deal
Cracking bike for the money! Heat added.

To be fair it's not built with road riding in mind it's aimed at off road ,dont think it's meant to be a smooth.
Prefer the Carrera Vulcan at £330 it's got similar components except a triple chainset for wider gear range and according to Halfords is over a 1kg less than the Voodoo which is weird as the Carrera frame looks chunkier with more obvious reinforcing.

The Voodoo mentions 7005 as the frame material but that frame material has been abandoned by the best large scale frame manufacturers like Giant, Merida and Fuji-ta. Often 7005 frames are coming out of Cambodia, mechanically formed not hydro-formed and no heat treatment in the more basic factories. Wouldn't surprise me if the Voodoo frame was actually inferior to the Carrera as there is some licensing to pay for the Voodoo brand or simply Halfords are recouping the cost of a one off cost for exclusive uk use of the voodoo brand.

Also note for only £30 more you can get the Voodoo Aizen with a Suntour XCR fork and larger 29" wheels.
