Spec wise this looks pretty good for a Windows Mini PC, only a few quid more than the standard V1. IMO a much better option than Android boxes, purely because of the amount services you can use on something like this. It will also allow for 60hz at 4K, which I know for many would be essential.

It's also upgradable if you want more storage in there, which I am pretty sure most would appreciate. It also hooks up to two monitors via HDMI & VGA at the same time, if that's soemthing you're looking for.

Use code TMPLKSUS at the checkout and the price will drop down.

I think a couple of people picked these up a little while ago, so would be interesting to see what they thought of it.

Really need to start looking for a dual LAN version of one of these, I want a hardware VPN.
Heat. Good find. Could be a good value Plex system.

I'm currently using the Acer Revo One Mini PC (i3-4005) that I picked up via HUKD in 2015 as my Plex system - it performs well but this could be a decent upgrade.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. If I was you I'd want to know how the i3-4005 compares to the j3455. The i3 despite being older could be much better.

The processor is worse in that one. So a few extra quid gets you double the storage and a better processor. The Vorke is a better deal

Thanks,I had looked at the Acepc some while back so guess the Vorke is more up to date.
I notice that stock is available in Germany,Spain and Italy, for a bit more ,quicker delivery and no import taxes etc,if one is unlucky with them.

Not too much in it.

I'll keep my Acer as it's fine for my needs at the moment.
I had one these last year and sent it back because it suffered a lot of overheating when used with an additional hard drive inside, even then the fan cut in, which is does a lot and is very loud, requiring a hardware mod to fix, so build quality is not what it should be.

Gemini Lake boxes with native HDMI 2 support are imminent too, so expect a slew of Apollo Lake boxes to get reduced in price.
No H265 ? No Digital sound out?

Anyone using this as a TV box?

Can it read external hard drives more than 2TB with GPT partition format?
