Don't do it. Imagine all the string changes you have to do for all those guitars...
Would this be good for beginners at all? Really good price!!

Just get Elixir strings, they basically last forever if you don't use the guitar a lot. And even if you do tbh. Lol. Well worth the extra money.

Yes, totally fine for beginners. Just don't spend more time fooling around with the controls than practicing haha.
Son's Christmas present sorted, cheers
Arrgh. Want. New. Toy
Interesting concept....I wonder is it basically a clone of the line 6 variax technology?
So does this have midi?

Iirc it's very similar.

Also they just updated their website this morning, and now they have a lot more in stock.
I had a tyler variax 69 and it ended up gathering dust. The sounds had a very synthetic edge to my ear and I prefered using amp sim software to get the sounds I was after.
Thank God it's sold out- I can't afford it but was getting seriously tempted to jump on this new toy. I already have a Variax, but just keep being drawn back to my Ibanez main guitar!
I don't think this looks anywhere near as good as the Line 6 guitar modelling, but fancied the onboard effects for things like open jams when I don't have access to my effects or amp!
Ps, not sold out in white but looks really ugly IMO
I possibly got the last one, a black one. Glad it's the newer Plus model as this is still usable without batteries (in case they die on you). A guitarist friend has had a very nice and palyable Parker with similar humbucker + piezo pickup combination for a decade or more and it works very well.
At this price, I couldn't refuse.
Gimmick guitar.. hot either way
Well done guys, you cleared them.
I umm'd and ahh'd for minutes too long. If anyone is thinking of cancelling their order or whatever I would be interested in buying it from you.

Is that the only difference between the regular one and the Plus model? The regulars are still in stock and I'm wondering whether it's worth the buy heh
arriving today! anyone else excited?

I am if it comes!

I was close to getting it yesterday morning when there were 10 units left... Went back later.. 7 left.

Followed the link later on and all sold out so I went back to my open tab showing 7 in stock and bought it expecting a failure.

It went through...

Hmmm how does that work?
Honestly, it's great!! Christmas came early, thanks again OP for finding this deal!
Now I have it unpacked, it's very nice. It came with 3 allen keys (hex wrenches) and a spring + the whammy bar. I can't work out the reason for the smallest allen key nor for the spring - seems to be a spare.
Anyone know?
The large (black) wrench is for the truss rod (my neck relief is ok so not using that). The medium size one is for saddle adjustment (string height). The little one is a mystery to me.
Update: probably a spare spring with slightly different tension to allow whammy bar to work with strings of different gauges.
