VOXI Data Promo (Triple data extended)

Posted 20th Nov 2018

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

These are the same prices as the triple data promotion which ended 17th November 2018:
3110404-Xxrfj.jpg£10 = 6GB (was 2GB)
£15 = 15GB (was 5GB)
£20 = 45GB (was 15GB)

ALL PLANS =
Unlimited social media data, no contract cancel anytime, unlimited calls, texts and picture messages, use your plan in Europe with no extra cost.

I'm not sure if they plan to keep these the usual data amounts as they've removed the parts where it says what each data amount was (so it no longer says 6GB was 2GB etc)

The offer ends 31st March 2019 unless they extend it again. I don't know if it's still triple data for 24 months like the previous promotion was before it got extended, or whether you'll be downgraded to the original plan without triple data at some point. I recommend asking VOXI before you purchase a plan.

Also worth knowing you can only join if you're under 30 but you won't be forced to leave when you become that age (I imagine if you left after turning 30 you wouldn't be allowed back but I don't know):

VOXI runs on the Vodafone network, so make sure you check coverage.

I hope this is useful!

Thought this was interesting, but shocked that you have to be under 30. I am baffled on why?!

36165031-hHuAx.jpgThis is why ? I myself am under 30, and if there's an offer like this in June when I'm no longer in contract with EE I plan to join VOXI. That said, I'd just go pay as you go until there's a decent VOXI offer on.

I do agree it shouldn't just be for under 30's and I'm glad I wouldn't be forced to leave when I reach that age however

Price Discrimination, younger consumers on an average are more price sensitive than older ones so you need to give them better deals otherwise they'll switch over. Over 30s might as well but are less likely to. Same reason the same textbook costs much more in a developed country than a third world country. They know people in third world countries can't/won't pay more. It's a fairly common theory in economics

If you go to a Vodafone store they will require ID (yes you can take out a VOXI plan in a Vodafone store, as Vodafone runs this network) - but online I've no idea lol, just if they ask for proof of age at any point (like PayPal can if they suspect you're not old enough for PayPal) it'll be a bit awkward
Not sure about roaming speed of voxi. I had a voxi sim card and a vodafone sim (my usual sim) last summer in Spain. I used to struggle on line with voxi, very slow or hanging, as compare to Vodafone sim.

Odd as I am sure VOXI runs on the Vodafone network. Not sure if they limit the speed after a certain amount of data is used, like Giffgaff does for unlimited data though
Did it online, was not asked to prove the date of birth. Also had to query later why my 6gb allowance had not gone down according to my account page, and was told that I am probably one the the ones that have a glitch and are currently on unlimited data. Could not confirm how long that situation may continue for though.

Do you mean unlimited data in general, as a whole (for example - you get unlimited data on Youtube)? - As everyone should get unlimited data on social media.
Just to confirm when registering online you can put in any DOB there is no check.

Also they keep extending this offer. It seems like its going to continue on as their normal offer. Which is stupid, but I guess a marketing ploy to get people signed

I hope it does continue to be the usual offer because I want to join in June when I can leave EE, for the 15GB plan

No, I meant that I should have 6gb data for general use, Out with the free social, media allowance. Since taking out the plan my 6gb has not reduced at all even though I have used data. When queried it I was told I probably have completely unlimited data at present.

I found this in my junk folder after a few days and still haven’t received a text to say that things are back to normal, and as a result, I am still on 6GB

"for 24 months". Have you been a customer for 24 months? If not then you will be on 6GB.

I actually can't wait to join VOXI in June - it appears they give existing customers already on the network these promotions like triple data, unlike other networks I've used!

Yes I’ll be receiving 6GB data every month that I top up for 24 months. What I, and a few others is saying is that when we log in, none of the 6GB has been used. So we are effectively on unlimited minutes, data and texts for £10 a month until further notice.

That makes sense. That's pretty good and hopefully it'll be for a while, for your own benefits! 😁
Was wondering why my 6gb had never decreased! Thought it was a glitch on the website or something but this might explain it! Had no problems with the network personally but only been on for a month. Was on Plusnet before and this seems to be just as good, if not slightly better, coverage-wise
