Posted 18th Dec 2019

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Voxi are offering increased data on the £10 and £15 plans until Feb 19th.

What does endless mean?
Endless means unlimited use. With Endless Social Media, you get unlimited use of these social apps and websites without eating your data: Snapchat, Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook Messenger. Anything else you do online, such as browsing websites, sending emails and using maps comes out of your general data. To keep your Endless Social Media and any video or music passes active, you must have some general data left.

Can I tether with my VOXI plan and extras?
You can tether another phone, laptop or tablet to your phone and your endless social data will still apply when using those apps or websites on the other device. The same goes for the apps and websites included in your endless video and music passes.

Can I keep my number when I join VOXI?
You'll get a new number when you join VOXI - but if you want to keep your current number, you can have it transferred over easily. To do this, sign into your VOXI account and go to the 'transfer number' section. You'll be asked to enter your PAC code and choose a transfer date.

How do I pay for VOXI?
Your VOXI plan is a simple online subscription – you just create an account and register a valid payment card. Payment will be taken every 30 days, when your chosen plan and extras refresh. You can opt out at any time.

How do I set up my phone for using data?
You'll need to update your settings.Connect to WiFi and text WEB to 40127 (free from your VOXI mobile). You'll receive a text to let you know your settings are on their way. You'll receive a second text containing the settings - simply follow the instructions and save the settings to complete the setup.

I have the 8gb deal, went way over that last month and my account said I still had 8gb left, gonna absolutely hammer it this month and see what happens...

Yes that's because VOXI customers are "temporarily" on unlimited data, although that's been the case for months now
Superb network provider, the social media usage without going into your allowance is a great bonus and on top of that there are the offers such as 2 tickets to be cinemas for £7 offered to customers too

Not that generous, OH got same offer £10 for 8Gb in March and that continues for 24 months.
Heat added for Vodafone coverage but it's £10 for 30GB on SMARTY as a permanent price now, that obviously depends on whether your area has good Three coverage as to whether it's worth it or not

They are all unlimited plans at the moment talked to them on web chat earlier and they don’t know when it will end, comments on here say it’s been like that for months, while they fix an issue.
Boom, fill your boots for a tenner a month then

apparently it includes 5g data too but I've not used my phone in a 5g area since getting the voxi plan
I've been on VOXI for nearly 3 months having switched from being a long term Vodafone customer.

No issues at all with connection and coverage. My download speeds are 25Mbps at home but much faster at work, which is Norwich city centre.

£15/month for the 20Gb plan but as others have mentioned, my data usage hasn't changed at all.

Glad you added the caveat. I have smarty and the speeds are nowhere near that of Vodafone for me in London. Having 30gb of data for a tenner isn't so great at speeds of 250kbs compared to 30mbs.

SMARTY hasn't been so bad for me since when I first joined them to be quite honest. I'm not getting anywhere near the hundreds (on VOXI I had 100-200MBPS a lot, including at home) and on SMARTY I'm getting an average of a usable 24MBPS or so most of the time

Glad it fits your needs. I'd take 24mbs on Smarty any day. No doubt this is great value for a lot of people.

When I first joined it wasn't as good as that. I have two free months on my account (one left as today is what would've been my billing day) and I was gonna go back to VOXI after those if no improvement was made. I'll probably just switch to the £10 30GB plan next month when my remaining credit is taken

That's a good idea. For me, I have no broadband right now as I'm getting Virgin's deal in January. I have Smarty for another week (also got a free month) and I'm hoping the Voxi sim stays unlimited up until the New Year.

Tempted to ditch my 3 AYCE from January for Voxi and use it until its unlimited data will work, then I'll move to Vodafone or EE. Already have another Vodafone sim only 100gb so that would be a winning combo. Hopefully if not too many users will spread the voice about their unlimited "glitch" it might last for longer..😁

Voxi are coming out with an unlimited package. They're offering if at a 'special price' of £30 until Feb. I'm assuming that they'll have their system sorted by then.
If you're with Sky, I'd say go with Sky Mobile instead of this. Same price for the 8GB, but any data you don't use will carry over for up to 3 years!
Is VOXI similar to Giff Gaff in the way you top up? No contract etc.
I'm thinking of switching as GiffGaff is pretty slow

yes very similar - been on Voxi for a few months now.

No contract, so no month in advance / one month minimum term etc

so just leave auto renew one to keep going - or turn auto renew off when you want to stop, or pause

and Voxi do a £10 Amazon voucher for referrals - so some little extra can be made also !!!

similar, Voxi have 30 day rolling contracts with endless social data. I'm on Vodafone and the coverage is great.

With GiffGaff you could alternate between monthly or payg but Voxi is on a monthly bases only.
Thanks for all the replies

do giffgaff still allow a simple PAYG service, I thought they had stopped this and you now must have a Goody Bag each month?
Better than three signal wise.
Sorry for the stupid question but when Voxi says this deal is until 19/02...Does that mean if you buy it before 19/2 you will lock it in and always will have 8GB/month or that the data allowance will revert to 6GB after 19/2?

You keep the extra data for 24 months
Thinking of getting this but have a question if anyone knows, when I'm on holiday for a week next year I'd like to have a bigger data plan for the time I'm away so I'm thinking I can buy the bigger or unlimited when my plan refreshes prior to the period I'm away, so my query is the following month when I get the smaller plan again will it stay as this or will it revert to 6gb data ?

I think you change plans in advance. For example you're on 8GB now, you change to 45GB, your data allowance changes on your next renewal. Don't quote me on that but that's how I believe it works

Yeah that's how it works so I was thinking of setting it to go higher on the renewal before I'm on holiday but then setting the next one back to the lowest plan but I'm assuming it will revert back to the std 6gb rather than this deal, having said that it doesn't really matter they'll probably have a summer sale and also going by the high data low price deals that smarty are doing now I'm sort of second guessing that voxi/giffgaff might up their data just to compete.

Hopefully but what you also have to bear in mind is Three (network SMARTY uses) isn't the best. It's usable in my area but I don't get anywhere near the 100-200MBPS I had with VOXI (Vodafone). I'm sure if you change your data plan you'll lose the extra data but then again, there will probably be a Summer sale or something. They do this sale every few months from what I've noticed
Can you transfer numbers between Voda and VOXI?

I'm pretty sure you don't even need to change SIM cards to switch from Vodafone to VOXI. Your number would just be the same as well. Just ask VOXI live chat to do this as long as you're out of contract

That's not 4g. You're connected to WiFi and your ISP is Leek.
does this have better coverage than idmobile as id seem to be terrible most of the time.
does voxi support short sms

Leek Internet Connections is the server used for the speedtest not my ISP. I'm not sure there is a Leek isp.

If you look it shows LTE Vodafone.

How do you know? The website doesn’t seem to tell you how much you have used? Mines perm stuck at 8GB?
Anyone that is considering switching from Vodafone (pay monthly) to Voxi - There is a glitch affecting some users that prevents you from logging into your online account.

Voxi customer service have looked at my issue and cannot find a solution.

It's not really a problem with the unlimited data at the moment, but I've been with them for 3 months and still cannot login. Hopefully the issue will be resolved before I need to start tracking my data usage again (8GB plan).
