Bought one for my Asus Transformer and it is really the best android video player I have tried!

!!SALE!! FOR LIMITED TIME! 80% OFF!!!

Please install 'VPlayer' at first.

VPlayer 1.x is next generation of VPlayer, which brings experimental HW accelerated decoding and rendering to HD MKV/AVI/MOV/FLV/TS/M4V/3GP for most Android devices. Also a new designed UI is available now, and of course, a new icon.

VPlayer is a HW accelerated Media player for android. It use HW video decoder at various containers and audio codecs combination.
Dual Core/High end devices ( Sensation , Galaxy S/S2 , Nexus-S ) can play 720p even 1080p MKV/AVI/MOV/FLV/TS/M4V/3GP.

VPlayer drains less bettery than SW based players such as MX Video Player, MoboPlayer.

ICS devices can play 1080p files with full HW accelerations, Honeycomb tablets can play 720p MKV with Full HW accelerations.

If you use MIUI, CM7 or unofficial ROMs that can not play MKV/FLV/MOV/AVI using default player, VPlayer is the best solution.

Cheers.. purchased (been waiting for the price to drop for ages)!
This is one of the best video players on the Android ecosystem.. plays whatever I throw at it!
PS. I didn't have the reported install issues.. liking the ICS theme!
good price, how does it compare to MX Video Player?
Just how much battery does this save?
What was the correct price in pounds? (so I could edit it to the text)
@touchCookie - I would say it is better than MX!
@punkrjb - this app had the best battery performance from the ones I tried including ICS stock and MX..
@jleppa - it was indeed £0.99
Not as good as Dice Player
I'm the developer of VPlayer. Thanks for reporting this discount.

I think in the performance area, VPlayer is the same as Dice Player, which has real hardware decoding too. Another player with real hardware decoding is BS Player. All the others use the stock player with a custom skin to pretend hardware decoding feature, which is limited to several video formats and qualities.
It's now £1.99
