Just a word of caution. Use your judgement when signing up to any VPN service. The connection between you and the VPN endpoint is completely encrypted, at the other end however, it's like you've just plugged a network cable from your machine into the other parties network. They can see whatever you're doing (with the exception of SSL protected websites, which are as secure as they normally should be. Don't wish to scaremonger, just be aware that your activity is private from everyone, except the company at the other end and wherever they choose to send your traffic once they decrypt it.

But isn't that always going to be the case, unless you vpn directly to someones machine or router

Excellent service!!

What country is the vpn connected to? Does it allow the use of torrent sites through this vpn.

Google.
Google.

currently using this. can be slow at times and the win7 application often requires the tap driver to be reinstalled which is a bit of a pain but simple to fix. other than that its OK. lots of countries to choose from as well.

Pfff they has 26 providers and most of them are from usa for me mean no security guarantees...

Found this website privacytools.io/ and might be helpful to some

I've used them for a couple of years and found their service brilliant. I'd you're particular about where you want to be, there's a drop down menu on connection where you can choose.

Brilliant for Three 4G unlimited and torrents :P

expensive compared to VPNUnlimited

I use them an they're pretty gud i think, they now got an app for ios which is easier. Apparently they dont keep user data so more private

Unfortunately most of the stuff i use it for is in state so probably subjected to isp level snoops

So longs its not my isp snooping im not fussed

I've been using it for 4 years. Always found it to be fast.

Where's the iOS app? I'm still connecting with openvpn

I'll stick to fsecure freedome

I can't believe this is being voted cold. It's normally $40 a year (~£27) so this is a significant saving, and the service is great. That said, at £27 a year, it's still good value. Plenty of countries to choose from (18 different locations outside of the US, which one commenter seemed to miss...) and good speeds. Some better than others, of course; I use Netherlands for downloading anything as I get the best speeds from there at ~60Mbps. Never had an issue in the 4 years I've been using the service.

Just ask. who has the money to run massive infastructure for a VPN service? will they squeel when the police come asking for IPs. There is almost no legitimate use outside business for VPN.

I have been using Private Internet Access for years. They do not keep logs or anything like that, period. Also, if you use there client, you can setup Kill Switch, IPv6 Leak Protection and DNS Leak Protection, which will all help to keep your connection private from your isp and other orgs

I get much better performance via openvpn

I found using SmartDNS really good

2 years is $49.99 about £35 and I use mine for accessing NETFLIX USA and other services

Absolutely. My word of caution is only a general one, make sure you trust the organisation you use for VPN, whoever they may be.

Just found out that that this company had set up a preapproved payment schedule with paypal to run indefinitely with no way of cancelling the account. This would mean that they would take a yearly payment for as long as you had a paypal account.
Please check your Paypal Preapproved payments section and check to see if you can cancel the account. If not complain to Paypal. If you are happy with the arrangement please ignore this message
