This is very interesting, tho I'm using a Roku mostly and I don't think it can work with that, maybe? I could use it on my MacBook air and switch over to my old apple tv and mirror, IF apple haven't blocked mirroring with this ... Hmm two days to decide but I would like the us Netflix option
Yay, let's all get a vpn that stores All the data from every website you visit, then sell it, these are cheap for a reason, do your research people.... Or be watched by the uk, USA, Chinese, Japanese and so on... Governments all over the world!!

Are there any 'safe' vpn providers? I use them very rarely so don't want to pay much.

Yea, you could be right. I really only use it for netflix us, disney+ and perhaps watching footie on Saturday. So suits me for that.
Unsure what sites you are wanting to visit, but if its something you really want hidden away and no one to ever know about perhaps this isn't the vpn for you...
cant be all that great if youve had to contact customer service already.
proper "grey" VPN should be avoided.
Had this for a good few years when I got lifetime vpn for £20 odd. Been brilliant for casual use for me eg. if you want to use hotel WiFi, or need to appear to be in a different country etc.

Jeez people on this site just love to comment to try and knock things without asking, snide comments and whatnot.
I contacted them once cause I was being stupid about password, and contacted them once asking about disney+ availability.
Got quick responses, thought I would share my experience. Can't please anyone...

Express VPN are about as safe as it gets.

Yes, ExpressVPN, NordVPN and Private Internet Access have all either been audited or had their servers seized and nothing of use was found.
\Nord and PIA are a different level to this grey VPN stuff. stay away

Same here seems to work quite well on laptop mobile and Android TVs just remember Google collects all your data

How about KeepSolid vpn?

How about KeepSolid vpn?

They keep some logs and are US based, personally I'd avoid them. NordVPN have some good 3 year deals right now, £30 each year or so. Cheaper VPNs will sell your data, you become the product.

PIA. Their no-logging policy has been tested twice in open court in the US. They keep only a record of your email, so just use a throwaway email.

I recall someone mentioning that they changed owners and not being as trustable as before, just to say it.
I've bought a key for lifetime keysolid VPN for £12 on eBay in the past
Any good DNS offers
What are download speeds using torrents?
Nord vpn premium subscription eBay any good?
Very limited torrent servers and no linux kill switch. No thanks.
was 12 quid for a lifetime not long ago and 9 quid for lifetime before that

not sure how can they keep it going with such low prices but I'd give it a go.. not for 30 quid though
I am using them have done for the last 2 years. That said, I give up, more times than not, maybe 90%. For example, today I spent 15 hours e-mailing back and forth, trying to tell them that first of all my e-mail account was blocked, as it said 5 times have been wrong password. When they did answer, they said it was actually not blocked. Ignored half that explained by me saying instead, if I couldn't remember, to just ask for my password recovery e-mail. I had already said that no such e-mails came through ever. Yet again, I go to bed minus use of this VPN. Not worth a penny.
