Why spend lots of money on a VR Headset when poundland is selling them for £1!

I had to try them and I have to say not bad for a quid!

wow these were 6 quid at poundland when I previously posted. 1 pound more tempting!

Can you play 'Gordon's lost his Badger' on it?

Oh I'll have to have a look at these tomorrow - I have the cardboard thing at the moment and it is OK.

No the 6 quid is a different model. This is only £1 model.

My mate bought this last week and we tried it. It's better than the £20 I bought off Amazon lol.

Estate agents are really missing a trick. 360 photos on a free viewer (given out at estate agent if you don't have one) would really help sell properties.

This or an Oculus Rift?

These are 99p in home bargains, I got two for the kids as stocking fillers.

So you want an overhaul of the way estate agents work just so you get a free one pound vr viewer. why not.

I'm not sure but you can definitely play "Magic Shells" on it, though I wouldn't bother.

These Vr Headsets are the cardboard version.

Yea, but as its only a quid, not only does galactic gordon not appear in the game, the badger doesn't either.

Shows 4£ online?

This all day long duke.. when the guys at oculus see these bad boys they will realise the mistake they've made

I'm gonna return my son's psvr and buy this for his Christmas present instead, cherching! X)

How essential is a cortroller for vr? Because I might just get this one instead if the £6 one in Home bargin if a controller isn't necessary

I don't know if I'm too young or too old (or too out of touch) to get that reference :|.

Its in reference to the apprentice this week where they made VR games and one of them was called Gordons lost his badger.

Bought one. These are good pair. Same as other cardboard eyewear.

I think Magic Shells is more fitting to the Poundland headset

Looking at box art these are the ones in numerous gadget shops for around £20 lol

Is this the equivalent of Google Cardboard then where you just put your phone in?
Seen them around but for the price figured it'd be more of a toy than an actual VR experience

This years Apprentice candidates have to be some of the worst I've ever seen!
I wonder if it's ever gotten to the final and Alan was like "I don't want to give it to either of them!"

nah you can only play magic shells on it

I have to say that the difference between a cheap and an expensive VR set seems to be the size of the pixel. On an expensive one, you can see big pixel, and on a cheap one very big pixel. So, do you like pixel?

Couldn't find any in two of their branches. Just the £4 ones. Heat added though.

Some jokers on ebay have bought these and are selling them for £9.99 or best offer.. the nerve to charge £3 for delivery too!! haha!

Just bought 5 of them myself for stocking fillers..

These are essentially akin to Google Cardboard. Worth it at 99p/£1 for a stocking filler, providing the kids have a phone thats compatible with Google Cardboard. The phone goes in at the front of the viewer, and then the cardboard piece folds up behind the phone and is tied at the top with 2 velcro patches. A bit finicky to put together as i found one of the precut slots was not aligned well and one of the cardboard flaps seemed redundant, so a bit of a snip and glue required. Well worth it though.
