My girls got them for Christmas & they are now 34mths & 44mths old, depending on the games you buy, I'd say suitable from 2ish - 7ish

ordered thanks

It's says from Age 4 on Argos site but I've just bought one for my daughter for Christmas and she's 2 this week. If she can work my sons samsung tab I'm sure she will suss it out.

Brilliant, had to get the blue for my little girl, but don't care about that. Why does everything have to be blue or pink anyway?! Thanks OP

Thank you - ordered!

p.s. Don't forget Quidco!

Great price, sell for more than this second hand on ebay

Cheaper at £30 for any existing customers who received the £30 voucher at very recently.

That's because the code is VXXN, just worked for me. Ordered thank you OP.

Got to checkout but decided against it. Already have a Jailbroken iPad and a Nexus 7 loaded with kids apps.
Would struggle to convince the Mrs the girls would benefit from also having one of these.

Fantastic find. Just ordered blue. Hot from me!!!!!!

tablet will be better than this, more games, more choices, my 2 year old most use toy

Ordered 1 for my boys birthday! Thanks op. Heat added.

These are a lot more robust that the £500 + kit you've just mentioned, also if they do get dropped or stood on £33 is less of a loss.

ordered one for my son. Will comment once I recieve. Dont forget 5% quidco

Have been looking around for a good deal on the Leapfrog Leappad2 for our 2 year old daughter as the age group spec on that one is from age 3 (as opposed to 4 for the Innotab), but this price does make the Innotab very tempting. Appreciate any advice on the two product options from anybody in the know...:-)

My son got one when he was 3 (a version 1) with a few games, some of the number/word games where a bit advanced but there is plenty of other stuff to do like drawing, taking pictures, etc. I bought a memory card and filled with movies for him. He's now nearly 5 and got a Galaxy Tab 2 last christmas but still uses the Innotab now and again.

hot, ordered. it just so happens i stood on his old one this morning and cracked the screen!

excellent

Thanks for your feedback, only blue ones left now unfortunately but seems too good a price to pass up me thinks!

Is this any good on its own or will we need to spend a fortune buying additional games etc.? Thinking about my daughters 3rd birthday.
Don't care if its blue by the way. Any advice appreciated.

Similar position here, and my understand of these is that they are multi functional devices (MFD's) that you can draw on, take pix, download e-books on etc as well as games. I expect that they come pre-loaded with some entry level games/books and you download extra from VTech. What I do preffer about this one over the Leappad2 is that games are downloaded, as opposed th the cartridge system with the Leappad2 (and other products), which straight away presents the risk of cartridges getting lost (or 'items' getting inserted in to the cartridge port :-))

Thanks. I ordered it anyway as it will probably go out of stock in no time and then I will be kicking myself. :-)
Will need to look into the downloads a bit more then.

Got a blue one for my daughter - sure she wont mind xx

Games come on both cartridge and downloaded.

The downloaded games are very small content wise and the cartridges normally more content, all carts. come with the same format of a game, an ebook and a painting/stamping/make your own comic type section.

Thanks!

Thanks very much, I'm sure my son is far too young for this but I may get my iPhone back now lol

Agree, which is why I've just bought one for a friend who doesn't own a tablet. Just don't see the point in getting one for my own kids. Both my tablets are in protective cases and insured.
The iPad has survived 2 drops on to a tiled kitchen floor from over waist height and is regularly sat one by the youngest.

Ordered one from Debenhams the other day for £40.46, Only for them to cancel the order without giving any valid reason!

Still in stock but price has gone back up to £59.50 (_;)

Glad they did now though!

Nice one OP, Made my day

you where lucky then as my Iphone didnt survive a 1 metre drop onto a pavement, insurance is all well and good but you need to take into account any excesses and premiums.

Just ordered one for one little boy

Thanks for the post

Same. Not sure I would apply the same logic if I was buying for my Son and only the pink ones were available though!
