tremendous find!! heat added :-)

Are these really any good? I'm tempted but my five year old son has been using the ipad and I've a feeling this would get tossed to one side after five minutes if I got him one for Xmas.

my two boys age 3 and 5 love theirs and they also love the ipad, i think they are worth the money.

I agree with spongebob, when my daughter was 5 she liked this as much as, if not better than, the Ipad to be honest. Guess all kids are different but that was my experience

Fab price fluf- heat added!

cant get on site for love nor money

Mmmm. Is it really worth buying one of these or just get a normal tablet?

Does it have bbc iplayer, I want my tab back lol and as for buying a pink one for a boy, I can't see what's wrong with it.

Was looking for one of these! Great find. Heat added. X)

Again, depends on the child. These are much more durable (ie getting thrown around :p) than ipads etc and my daughter loved hers but with deals like the deal extreme tablet it's all down to preference I guess.

Great for loading movies on SD card too, AVI format, makes car journeys and hotel breaks easier, and even allows us a break from kids tv!

all about the VTEC..

Deal is hot if it's what u want:

but just to let people know it's not the 3S...

No battery pack & is not wifi

There has been a deal posted for the leapad, can anyone advise which wud b best for a 3 yr old? (She will b 3 in January)

Seriously got to stop coming on here! Every week I order a few thing's, it will bankrupt me. Hubby said he's gonna ban me lol

Reserved one for my 3yr old, so that I can reclaim my tablet back and I also have a £10 voucher so bargain! thanks Fluf01!

Look at this review from amazon
"So far I have been very disappointed with the Innotab 3s. I purchased this based on the fact that my children loved the leapster and I have been very impressed with the VTech company and products. However, since purchasing this, I have felt bombarded with sales advertising and devoid of support or help. It is not easy to negotiate, and the operating system is old fashioned to say the least. Personal media must be converted into avi format, however it seems some alien settings are required which no one can provide. The touch screen is very poorly sensitised and the games are far from educational. Infact having purchased £100 credit for the learning lodge, I am disappointed with everything on offer. Games meant to teach children their phonics use letter names instead of sounds and anything they learn from these games will be un-taught when they get to school. In addition, a huge proportion of the media available on the learning lodge is music which is highly inappropriate for the age range of associated with the product.

Couldn't justify spending more money myself so nanna is buying it:-) thank you x

Great price...but like kevclark I cant decide between the innotab or leappad!!??

My daughter, who is 4 soon, got the innotab 2 last year for Christmas. At age 3 she was a bit young, but it is getting used more now. Its brought out every few weeks or so for an hour - so still getting rare use!!

Its the games that are expensive at around £15 each. We have never bought any software like that, but each week Vtech Learning Lodge has a weekly £1 download game or book and I buy that each week for my daughters innotab - I use the £20 credit card that I bought for £9.99 in Argos a few months ago (keep your eyes open for that as everytime I look its half-price!, but not at the moment!)

I reserved one of these, thinking it was the 3s, but not going to buy it now!!

That review above - why would anyone be mad enough to purchase £100 worth of download credit??

Voting hot. I paid £36 for the Innotab 2 last year from ELC and that was a bargain!

how do you get voucher £10

We bought the innotab 2 last year for our 4yr old, it was a hit but the batteries have made it pretty useless. She prefers the iPad everytime as it's always ready to go. but will get the inntoab out occasionally.

I didn't really like the idea of her having a proper tablet because of the expense and chance of breakage, but I'm now very tempted to get a hudl for her.

You might get more use out of it if your child is younger or you don't have an iPad/tablet.

Don't forget the barnardos toy exchange vouchers too if you have one. Add something like a smurfs blind bag to make it over £35 and use the voucher to get £5 off

Bought my daughter one for her 2nd birthday and she loves it. Easy enough for her to use, but rugged enough for her age. Have had no problem with avi files - all have played without additional encoding. Don't buy cheap batteries though - they'll give you about an hour. I bought the 2300 mah Energizer rechargeables and get a good stint from them.

Defo not a error just saw the advert on Tv! X)

My little boy had the innotab 2 last Christmas, he has not bothered with it he prefers the iPad and iPod. I contemplated getting him the innotab 3s but I know he will prefer the iPad or a tablet not advanced enough he has just turned 6 but he is very bright. Depends on the child, great price though.
