Thanks op I have reserved one

what a great find. my daughter will love this.

is this the new model?

0.3mp resolution! I know it's for the kids but give 'em a chance!

Would recommend the kidizoom twist (used to be the 'plus') which is 2mp and has loads of great features. Currently about £35.

The resolution of these has put me off them in the past. For the RRP you can get an entry-level "proper" camera. There's simply no excuse for such a low resolution, and it makes any photos taken on it pretty much useless.

amazing!!! what a bargain. thanks!!!

It's £15, it's fab for the money!

It didn't take long before the people not understanding the point of this camera and complaining it's not good resolution etc started complaining

kenrockwell.com/tec…htm I love the idea that you're ever going to want to blow up your young childs photograph to canvas sized prints for display

Or maybe set as wallpaper in Windows, because everyone runs Windows at 640 X 480 these days.

Honestly, at this price it's fine, but the point is that at the RRP they could have put in better components. My niece had one of their other cameras and the quality of photos was truly shocking.

Not complaining, just giving some good practical advice. This is a camera first and 0.3mp just doesn't do the job IMO even for kids. My kids use their kidizooms all the time and the photos are just fine at 2 mp and make it a 'real' camera. They've even printed off pretty good 6x4s. Ohhh and it's not all about the resolution, the kidizoom plus/twist is a much better design for kids to hold and use (side grips and binocular viewer) plus has more extensive software, takes video and has an SD card slot.

I'd steer well clear of this one even at £15 and pay a little extra for a lot better (OK twice the price!). Just my opinion though. Take it or leave it!

stay away from this. 0.3MP is a disgrace - you can't call it a camera. Give you child a mobile without a sim in it and they will get minimum 2MP for same price

As usual with Argos anything you want to buy is out of stock. I don't know how they get away with it I really don't...
