are these any good at all? My 3 year old is starting to develop quite an interest in cameras, and it would be nice to put away for christmas for her.
I'm not expecting brilliant, but obviously she needs to be able to tell what the photos are of!

This seems a really good deal - wish it was in blue

Not bad reviews on Argos and Amazon's websites. Given 4.7 out of 5 stars by reviewers on Argos. Pretty good deal at this price I think.

My daughter has this it is very good. If you are expecting amazing quality pics then this isn't for you but the pics I've printed out are really good. Its very easy to use as well, bargain

This looks like the 0.3mp version. If it is, I understand the photos are poor.

There is a 'pro' or 'plus' version which is 2mp and is absolutely fantastic. Takes good photos. Also has loads of features including some good games and plays MP3s. I did a loooooot of research and decided to pay the extra (cost about £50 8 months ago at argos on offer). Both our kids love 'em! £43.99 at Amazon...may be cheaper elsewhere.

thats what i was wondering, as it doesnt give specifications. On the argos website, the fisher price one states its a 1.3mp, which is about the lowest I'd want I think, don't really want the photos to be a blur
Lovely looking camera though

my son has one in blue and its pretty good but as above I am not sure if its exactly the same spec.

What we have done now is give him our old digital camera and put an extra case on (think it was meant for diving). Its made it pretty robust, he feels grown up and he getting some really good photos.

rubbish picture but who cares - they love them
