If it comes with a con sole then it is a cracking deal; Not sure whether console is included..

"Please note item 9262887 has previously been on sale at £22.99"

So you're saving a fiver on what Argos used to sell it for, not 40 quid. Wish Argos would stop doing this, it's deceitful.

Aha so that's pretty good then. I'm guessing it's a blue console?

EDIT: It does say blue in the title, oops!

original price was 56.98, it then went down to 22.99 recently and now has been reduced again by a extra 5 pounds so great bargain thanxs op

Thanks thats a cool Bargain.

Just reserved mine ready for my sons birthday in April thanks op heat added

Ordered, put away for Christmas for my son, great price, not many in stock now!

not a bad price but this thing is Crap! Hoenstly wouldnt recommend it all, got my son on the wii instead, obviously there is a price difference but seriously save your money and dont bother

We had one of these, played it once and flogged it on eBay. The resolution is so poor it was unplayable and pixelated on our 37" plasma. Imagine would be bearable on a 20" or smaller tv.

How many Wii games are teaching them counting, letters, spelling, pronunciation etc - NOT MANY

Yes the graphics are cruddy but the titles are nicely done use real voices and are EDUCATIONAL which is the point if you just want a free babysitting service then sure get a Wii but if you want the kids to learn at the same time this stuff is excellent.

BTW worth remembering the games are compatible across the entire Vsmile range so these games will work in this console and the pocket (handheld) and the motion (Wii like controller)

VTech also sell their stuff quite cheap here too vtechuk.com/Spe…rs/ I've listed that before for the offers but no one was interested so haven't bothered again

As for the above comment about quality, ok not up to modern console standards but it's NOT that bad at all suggest there was something not right between the console and your TV if it was that bad, works fine both on the 32" LCD and on the projector (now that blows their minds 120" image lol)

I couldn't help but laught at the comments about graphics. It really isn't about that. The games are very informative and educational while being bright and cheery enough for kids

Hot from me, ordered and picked up for my little man. Well worth £19 if it means he will leave the xbox alone

My little guy is two next month so will pick one up for his birthday. The web site description states 4-6 years old so if he struggles with it I'll just put it away for another year...

Cheers

wow deal , exellent spot, just picked up last one in argos , haringey london
thanks
little one will love it as he is thomson tank engine lover
thanks

ordered, thanks:)

just reserved thank you

Picked mine up after work and let my 3 year old have a play for an hour before bed. He loved it and picked it up straight away. I had to end up prying it out of his hands to get him to bed!

On a 32" lcd tv the picture is a bit pixelated but the words are clearly legible as are the characters. At the end of the day I don't think you can ask anymore for £18 and at his age it is the playabilty he is after not cutting edge graphics.

By the way a cheap transformer will do as I think it will eat batteries - I had a poundshop one kicking about that works fine.

i have reserved this but am not sure if to get this 1 or the vsmile motion one? so is the only difference that this 1 isnt wireless and the motion one is? is the wire not long so that u have to sit right infront of the tv with it?

Absolutely spot on, my kids are 4 and 2 and they love this..graphics are ok even on 42 inch, sound is amazing and the kids loved Remy's recipes.
I would agree that the graphics aren't on par with my PS3 but HAWEY man! £17.99 have a word with yourselves

Thanks for this just got one for my Grandson can't believe you get console as well.

Good value for money.

Brilliant! So pleased you posted this, my sons 4th birthday is in 2 weeks and is getting into mario kart and other games on the xbox....but you cant get edu ational games or hs age games on it....this is perfect! I will feel so much better about the educational aspect and age suitability, he does not care or know about the graphics yet, he will be so excited! Xbox, playstations etc can xome later in life! I reserved the last one in my local argos, my other close by ones were all sold out. Bargain price with the console included!

I must agree with the odd few on here that have purchased this and been disapointed with picture quality and after two or three days my 3 year old was not interested. Bored of the relentlessness of the games.

I now have a WII.

As for those of you who aready have children playing the xbox and WII, i really cant see this being attractive to them.

just my opinion.

i think its an amazing system at a really good price each one of my 4 kids have had one and i have just got this one for my brothers 3 year old so thanks op i wouldnt be able to afford such a nice gift if you didnt post this x

Hi do the games work in the vtech motion? And are they in the box or seperate to the console. Was going to give the console as a gift and keep the games for my daughter - thanks.

its still available for home delivery..and my son loved this til he was around 7 and grandson still does. There are a lot more accessories available for it like an art studio and keyboard...the graphics are not marvellous on a 42inch tv but i put them on the boys bedroom tvs. Theyre educational and fun games and just repetetive enough for a toddler. I much prefer the kids playing this than the wii as that just exercises the thumbs mostly!

Thanks for this great deal! It was featured over on the HUKD blog ]Playpennies!
