Thanks for sharing but this is not correct. This deal is not nationwide.
My local Vue only has £4.99 tickets on superdays. Otherwise its up to £14.29 for an adult ticket during peak times.

According to MSE there are only 24 cinemas that have the £4.99 deal.

It would be a good idea to edit the title to reflect this.

Cost me £10.29 just for one adult ticket last night here in Redditch, its disgusting prices and they wonder why less people go. I'm 36, when I was 16, it would cost £2.75
finally some sense has been knocked into cinema industry.....expect popcorn to be doubled in price

My local Vue been £4.99 for as long as I can remember
Believe it when I see it.
And I'm not seeing if on their website.

Still selected locations only
Nationwide? Mine still shows at over £11 per ticket.
Coming up as £13:48 when I try to book for 2?
Doesn't seem to be nationwide (I might be missing something) - is it 'select cinemas' nationwide ?

Not nationwide, only 24 sites at that price. And a few others at a slightly higher price, with also Cardiff at 3.99. The rest are all 9.50 to 12.00 a ticket.

Maybe OP meant ‘dropping’ as in future tense?
Probably a heads up rather than a happening now type post!
I hope not. My Vue is £4 anytime, any film and has been for a few years!
4.99 in Reading showing up for me

Heads up type posts are posted daily. It doesn’t mean it’s not a good deal, when and if it goes live...

I take your point... ok so i’m posting a deal, Nintendo Switches £199 grey version only as it could be “when and if it goes live” as you say in 2019... do i get heat for a heads up??

Tickets have been £4.99 for ages at Meadowhall.
Not nationwide... also duplicated there are two more posts for this deal and apparently it's very few Vues doing this. Portsmouth is one.

3 hour drive is a deal-breaker for me!
Ours is not doing this deal, but does Mondays ( not Bank holiday Mondays) 2D films at £3.99 with their code.
Yippee! My local cinema is coming up as £4.99 (+75p booking fee).

Cheers OP

£4.99 in Portsmouth even though it doesn't state it but their website does.
Still full price in Greater London
Can you use this for autistic showings?

So I could drive from Doncaster to meadowhall watch the avengers and still be cheaper than driving 3 mikes to Doncaster and watch it?
Robbing sods, they are the only cinema within 20 miles in every direction no wonder they wont lower the prices
its 6 or 7 pounds at my one which is still way better than odeon
£4.99 at my local Vue cinema, great deal if you can get it
the romford one is probably only £5 as there is a local competitor who is charging that so it may be the case with the other 23
Never been nationwide. Only nationwide on Mondays.
In Cheshire Oaks it is £4.99 Tuesday to Sunday and £3.99 on Monday. I hope this helps. Heat added.
Competition can be a beautiful thing
The 4.99 price is right. The cinemas has competition now for peoples disposable income. I watched infinity wars for £5 and tbh, at that price point, I'll probably go alot more.

When you get to £10+ per ticket, times by a family, no wonder people don't go as often.
Do you still pay the £0.75 booking fee if you buy the tickets at the cinema rather than book online?
I went last week and used Meerkat Movies 2 for £4.99
