God, not another one.

-It's a lease, you don't own it or able to buy at the end.
-it's got 3 years warranty same as any new vw
-don't slate the mileage, it's usually cheaper to pay pence per mile than to add to lease
-it's around £150 to service the car
-you have to insure it
-you have to maintain it
-you have to put petrol in it (preferably super unleaded)
-we know you can buy a x reg BMW for £4.87 and run it for 20 years with no issues, well done you, go buy one and stop wasting time here.

The recent estate offer was posted by me as well..... And it wasn't a real deal. It was an old price that should t have shown on the website

Yup! I got a quote on one on PCP and it doesn't come close to this! Unless you have the intention of paying the final payment there's no reason not to lease!

Doesn't have 20% discount unless you get the estate.

It is around 12% plus the loyalty discount and pcp contribution if you're eligible which takes you up to around 17%

But drive the deal and then carfile.net are the cheapest places to buy an R, after all, I have one in my garage

Arguable

You can payoff pcp straight away, you can have the options you want and you can sell it when you want or get a new car when you want.

This could be cheaper if the admin fee is at the higher end of the scale

Horizon vehicle leasing are also are giving metallic paint for free. So it could even be cheaper depending on your colour choice.

I meant the one a few months ago. VW released 500 at a cracking price.

isn't he just saying he could get a 6-7 year old Mercedes for this price. He is welcome to it. Golf R is the best car I have ever owned bar none.

Ho ho you are so funny
cold
I got one of the original cheap Golf R leases a couple of years ago (up for renewal, see my BMW i3 thread for its replacement!) This is really a good value way to run a beast of a car, the Golf has been a hoot. The deal was hot then and is still hot now.

Agreed, not sure why this is so cold. Even with discounts the Golf is about £27k. You would definitely lose more than this cost over 2 years of ownership if you bough it (particularly when filtering in apr on a loan).
Mine doesnt go back until Feb. Will be a sad day.

Not strictly true, I have had 3 lease cars so far and on all 3 I have been given the option to purchase outright coming to the end of the agreement.
Its cold because most people on here shop at farmfoods.

i can verify this as another great R deal selectcarlease have some decent cars on offer atm , rather than just the cheapest Peugeot or something they can fleece you with.

I know i would rather pay this a month than have to risk turning up at the Mercedes garage with a 2009 car when you have a problem , get the speculum ready so it doesn't hurt so much , but enjoy your cls X)

its this the cheapest deal at the moment?
I am about to get this deal - but wanted to ask a question of those that have had the deal previously:
If i am going to use the car for just under 10,000 miles for the two year lease - should i pay for the maintenance inclusive option (tyres and servicing) or will most likely return the car before wearing out any tyres or needing to get the car serviced?
Thank you for your advice

So, i won't get to own it?

You think that a brand new Golf R costs £7,295?
