There are some pretty good PCH deals on the Volkswagen Polo at the moment, presumably as VW dealerships clear down their stock in advance of the new Polo being released (?).

This is an example of an offer direct from a VW dealership on the well reviewed 1.2 TSI but obviously there are lots of other models and repayment plans available.

There's no document fees / admin fees etc and there's free delivery within the UK.

Yes, it's contract hire so no you don't own the car (or have the option to purchase) at the end of the 3 years, but for an arguably reasonable deposit and £140/m, IMHO this is a pretty good deal for a well reviewed, pretty safe little hatchback.

Deal:
Initial rental: £842.34
Monthly rental: £140.39 for 35 months
Other fees: £0
Mileage: £8k p.a.
Excess mileage: varies - c6ppm

Spec:
1.2L Petrol
Manual (5 speed)
5 door
90 BHP
114mph top speed
10.8 sec 0-62
Parking sensors
Cruise control
Start-stop
Touch screen media system
Air con
Lots more

Q&A:
Is this car for everyone - No
Is PCH for everyone - No
Is PCH better than PCP / Personal loan / Cash purchase - Depends
Is this car the best Polo - No
Are VW lying cheating souls who should be ashamed of themselves - Yes
Is 90 BHP enough to win Le Mans and make me irresistible to the opposite sex - No
Has this car ever been cheaper - Not sure. Probably.
Is this a good deal on this car via PCP right now - I think so. Cast your vote.

Hope this helps someone.

Yeah but.... isn't owning a car better? despite your Q&A, I thought I'd get it in before anyone else.

90 BHP? I could run faster than this car.

Oh, and air con.

I went to enterprise rental this week to pick up a van and the compound was full of these without reg plates so I assume they can't sell them

i was about to state his deal as i thought it was over 2 years.. but over 3 i guess not so bad.. tho at this price it is worth looking at the near new used prices...

Yep - think they have made too many but supply > demand = prices lowered = good for consumers

It's fine if you're not a boy racer or BMW driver who thinks he still is one.

Thank you for your helpful comment - I have updated the Q&A.

If you're after a quick version of this platform, we got an Ibiza cupra on 2 years 10k for £170 pm. A lot of car for not a lot of cash

Heat just for the Q&A X)

£1220.40 *1 (initial rental) + £135.60 *35 (monthly rental) = £5,966.40 - no? Still a good deal though.
