This vacuum cleaner is designed for a high-efficiency cleanup with clean exhaust air, which is filtered b a 4 stage HEPA filtration system. Review by Trusted Reviews:

The reality is truly woeful carpet and hard floor cleaning.
The floorhead is the main culprit, but the poor efficiency, awful ergonomics and, as it turns out, a very small bin and rubbish filtration, also count against it.

It seems you get what you pay for, in this case.

Brough it on amazon the other week for cheaper on prime now. Working well so far but not holding my breath as it's got bad reviews all round.

not voting but this is higher than normal price i think i saw it for 33 before.

The floor head on a lot of these cylinder sub £50 vacuum cleaners are woefully inadequate and it's surprising they ever get put on sale with them. They're not carpet friendly and it comes down to the bevel edge design not being functional for what it's intended, it doesn't work with the suction these vacuums initially put out.

I swapped one floorhead out (not that I should have to) with an older floorhead and the vacuum cleaner became instantly better..

Maybe if this had been £20-25 it'd be a good deal but Supermarkets routinely drop cheap the cylinder vacuum cleaners down between £25-40 on rotation it seems and they all suffer from exactly the same issues their marketing description usually claims they don't.

They're all the same. Just re-badged whether it's Vax, Goblin or the other names.

Not voting. But for me it's about £10 over a deal price.

thought thet banned high power vacuums?

1400w! Shame the EU banned proper powered vacuum cleaners. Anything less than 2000w was once deemed as a poor performer.
