I've ordered one for £165 yesterday from a warehouse deal.

Been watching for a while.
Was a toss up between this or the Ticwatch E.

What made you got for this over the Tickwatch E? I'm seriously considering the Ticwatch.

NFC for android payments I'd imagine? Tickwatch E doesn't appear to have that.

£84 I mean.
Yeah, I wish they did honour it. Would've been great but hey ho, it is a (massive) business after all.
Thank you
Showing £240 for me

I think it was a combination of a few small benefits such as slightly longer battery, NFC, aesthetics... Although the Ticwatch E has a bigger screen it just looks really plasticky.

I really struggle to understand why nearly all the companies producing Android watches omit NFC for contactless payments. Surely this doesn't add much weight/size or cost to the devices. This has put me off several watches I would have otherwise gone for (Fossil, Misfit etc). Initially I was put off the Huawei 2 by the departure from the W1 aesthetic but I keep coming back to it due to NFC. So tempted this time...

Amazon mis-priced the watch last week. It got onto HUKD and within an hour or two Amazon must have had several thousand orders which then got cancelled. Most people didn't expect much more but a few harassed customer support and got compo vouchers etc. One guy kept insisting he'd got a watch at £85. He also rides a gold carriage pulled by unicorns and knows who killed JFK.

Cheers!

This is a good current price, but was lower on Amazon at the start of the year & can be got for £180 at H Samuel using a code
Does anyone know where to purchase decent quality replacement watch straps from for this?

True but Amazon are much easier to deal with if the device starts playing up and you want a refund. H Samuel will likely direct you to manufacturer.
Chickened out again...
Had this since black Friday £180 at Argos.

Great watch. I wanted NFC which narrowed it down to this and the Samsung watch, and Android maps on the Huawei swung it for me.

Went for the lightning deal in the end - will sell my Q Marshal. Really impressed with Android Wear - only gripes were lack of NFC, slight slow down with browser, and the flat tire. This hopefully should solve all my problems! Thanks @bitcoin5

Tiptop, be interesting to see how you find the battery vs the FQM and also the higher res poled screen on the HW2S, glad you got one in time
Damn, I placed the order last night in the app. App said confirmed but I didn't get a confirmation email and it's no longer in my purchases. Support says they won't honour it unless I have a screenshot of my purchase anyone had this before or could help out with a screenshot

Yeah true, it's been a while since I got my Q Marshal and battery has gone downhill, this is partly why I'm selling. 2 day battery life will be amazing! Not as bothered about the screen since it's so small but then again, that's what I said about my phone display...

I will post my initial impressions after I use it for a bit.

I've been using this watch for a while now and I've been impressed so far! Still finding it a bit sluggish but definitely a step up from my Q Marshal. The screen is definitely far more vibrant - I'm pleasantly surprised!

NFC and Google Pay on this watch is amazing! So much more convenient not getting my phone/card out.

The design is my main issue - coming from the Q Marshal (which I sold for £50), this is a let down because of the cheap looking band (going to replace this ASAP), and the weird black circle around the display. This really showed the difference between Fossil (being a designer fashon brand) and Huawei (being a technology company) because it is a case of either style or substance.

Not really noticed much of an improvement on battery life so 2 day life is not true here - got a 25% partial refund from Amazon because of this. All in all paid £93 with some promo credit/Santander retailer offer so I'm happy for the £43 upgrade cost!

Thanks very much @bitcoin5 for posting this deal!!!!
