Just purchased this myself.

It's the touch version, so recognises finger gestures as well as pen input.

Smoking! Just ordered. Bought one without touch for around £80 not so long ago.

Thanks

Wacom have just announced their new bamboo range, hopefully see a few of these coming down soon. Hot deal for now

Thanks. Will do nicely for my Dad's birthday.

If anyone has got one... Is the trackpad functionality on these good enough to use day-to-day and replace a mouse? Have read conflicting reports, some say its pretty good and others say its a bit hit and miss.

Looks like a good price for an alternative to the £50+ apple wireless version (especially since this is also a pen-based graphics tab) but perhaps I'm comparing chalk and cheese there!

Been keeping an eye out anyway and this is the best price i've seen, heat added. Thanks OP

what is the difference between this and the £25 one?

Thanks, I may get this as an alternative to a mouse.

For £25 it's worth it for a mess around/trial run into pen input but I doubt it will ever replace your mouse.

Does anyone know if this is any good for taking notes please?

How does the sensitivity of bamboo pen & touch compared to the mouse? Is it near 95 vs 100 or lower?

Good spot, just orderded the Pen Only - perfect for the kids to use on their graphics package at £25

Out of stock for delivery :o(

Great price - but nearest store is 90 miles from me... doh.

The standard pen only one for £25 is a great price, available for delivery too. Was intending to pick one up soon.

I bought a pen only one for £40 recently and it's been worth every penny in photoshop. This is a bargain.

Can it ever replace a mouse?

You do know what tablets are used for right?

just thinking which one to choose?
Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch Tablet or Wacom Bamboo Fun Small Pen & Touch Tablet?
Any advices?

Yep, but I am concerned about the sensitiveness of the pen&tablets

I imagine it would be only a partial replacement and might not accept the full range of multi-touch inputs. That's only a guess, though.

Although if you look at the details of the replacement range it says that they "add multi-touch functionality for gesture-based input such as scrolling [and] zooming", which does imply that these don't offer that.

Great price, bought the Pen and touch before for £50 so thought I would upgrade to the Fun Pen and Touch Heat added

Are you sure?, the dimensions and sensitivity are the same looking at the specs. The only difference I can see is the colour and the fun comes with more software.

Fun SMALL is the same as the Pen & Touch except colour, styling and extra software bundled in. Has the same size active area. The FUN MEDIUM has a larger area.

They are the same tablet apart from the bundled software and colour.

There is a list of differences on the bestbuy site

I use tablets instead of a mouse at both home and work, since I do a lot of Photoshop. It takes a bit of getting used to, but I'd never go back to a mouse now.

nice price, thanks. Picked one up from the Nottingham store today. Works well with both Mac and PC.

got my bamboo fun---nice one
