Not for everyone, but serious digital artists / photographers might like this - an Intuous Pro Special Edition (Medium) for less than £220 - and less than the non-SE version in the same size (£229.99). The only difference between the two is the metallic colouring on the SE version.

Threecamels shows this as the cheapest price its been on Amazon, ever, by some margin.

I only bought it because I was after some Faber-Castell drawing pens and needed something to push the value over a tenner for free delivery...

Cold voters - find me it cheaper.

Agreed, small numbers of peeps will benefit from this, but those of us that know will be grateful... Heat Op.

Heated up. Nice deal for a superb piece of kit.

With less functionality, for beginners like me the intuous pen and touch option is a good option I think HERE - I picked up a 'returned' one that was brand new for about £68. Now I'm interested in pursuing this further, I'm looking at a upgrade. The pen & touch option I've referred to functions as a large apple track-pad (albeit not wireless) with the added pen/drawing functionality. I am very impressed with it. There's a pen only version that's cheaper again, but the touch is very useful for rotating, zooming etc.

The cintiq 12wx options are doing the rounds on the well-know auction site usually for under or around £300, albeit used. I'm thinking that it's worth taking a chance with a used item for the joy or drawing directly on the viewing screen rather than the intuos pro.

Re my note above - Sorry, the pen & touch can be wireless but an additional price of kit is needed.

The Pen and Touch is an excellent bit of kit in itself, lacks the macro-keys and touchwheel which can be very effective in speeding up your workflow though. Whether they're worth the extra is up to personal circumstance; I'm a keen photographer and I do retouching work on the side so timesavers are definitely worth the money for me.

Really tempted to get this, been after one for a while and this is a great price.

I got one of these for Christmas - it's brilliant and I use it now instead of a mouse as well as for my photography work. Battery life is quite good so you can go wireless and put it somewhere handy - the medium is BIG but you can always map the active area to a smaller part of the tablet if you find it more suitable.

Brilliant price .. and the express buttons plus wheel, lessens the need for the keyboard to be near you ..(photoshop use).

think this may be gone now as only being offered for sale through third-party sellers. Will be interesting to see if it comes back in stock through Amazon direct at the same price.

EDIT: Back in stock from Amazon direct at £219.99
