These looks great for camping etc. Maybe a bit niche, but still a good deal if you need them.

Just got one of these to go out ((a lot more!)) when the World Cup kicks off, can be used on any AC mains (generator as well) or any DC car battery to keep your drinks & food icy cool.

Thanks OP, ordered. Been looking at the Halfords 40 litre, £125 down to £85 but this being £60 and a Waeco is a no brainer. Cheers
My original link did open a search for all the half price range. One of the mods must have decided to change it. There are other ones as well.

Could you please paste it into a comment? It would help a lot to see which other ones are available. Thanks!

The description says 12v and 230v, so that would be your car and mains
Ordered cheers OP - heat added
Are you sure they're sold out? I just got one confirmed

It’s the rest of the range I was referring to, this is the only model available now. When I first posted, there were several cool bags and a couple of boxes.
Also, just been price matched on Amazon, if you do not like tesco, not sure on how long either will stay half price!

Ordered from Amazon, thanks!
Cold, have some heat

You've got the chill factor
Thanks, ordered from Tesco as I had some vouchers and it's due in Monday. Amazon 1-2 months delivery.
Not great when in hot locations as will only chill to a certain temp below ambient. Waeco do a great range in compressor fridges - albeit more expensive!
waste of money............you need a compressor to have a fridge
Amazon order cancelled - estimated dispatch 1 - 2 months! Methinks not!
Guaranteed tepid temperature to disappoint!!!
This I think has been posted already earlier today by chanchi ?!

Snap, had a few CC vouchers ((small ones)) to put towards it, was going to get one of the BBQ's for someone, but they were all a bit naff / cheap looking, so spent it on myself instead!
what's the minimum temperature it chills at? for example the normal operating temp of your household fridge is 2-5C

Depending on your surroundings, about 3-8c
Also, don't plug it in and use it as an insulating box to keep your takeaway warm....

I dont know about this model. But, the one I have works upto -18 below the ambient temperature. So if it's 25 degrees outside. It will be 7 degrees in the cool box. Far better than a standard cool box.

Not perfect, but much better then a normal cool box. Its great for camping.

Must be a price match with Tesco - I’ve just seen them stacked in my local branch with a ‘new’ header at £120.
It's funny if I put an accidental duplicate deal on it's gone in minutes, yet this has lasted two hours and heated 😁
Orders thanks for posting

Lol! My duplicate post ((had not see this one or could not find it on a search!!)) has been merged, which is a pretty cook thing as all the info gets moved over and you do not have to re-type it all!

A lot of the errors / double deal posts are purely down to the hotukdeals search database, not sure why it cannot just have hot keywords in it, so the deals all show up, save all the reposts / dup posts and poor old mods time shifting them out!

Amazon states 1-2 months delivery - just in time for winter!
Note that these are VERY inefficient.

46 watts power usage. My 250 litre domestic fridge/freezer averages around 30w (Okay, it is A+++ rated).
I'm guessing the 12kwh/pa rating they've given this is based on the fridge being used occasionally, but with the calculations as if it was used for a whole year.

It will flatten a car battery if left on over night.

However, good to keep your stuff cool while driving and on mains when someone else is paying :P.
(Okay, we're talking maybe 15p a day to run, so not the end of the world for occasional use.)

If you want something that can be used for extended periods away from power, you can get 3 way versions that run on gas too.

At approx 4 amps, you'd be lucky to get 8-10hrs before the battery is flat.
Amazon basics one is a good job for anybody that missed this deal, £55 money well spent
As I understand it these are terribly inefficient. (Bolstered by above comments). Do deals for 12v compressor fridges come up often?
Also on Amazon same price. Dubious delivery timescale though. Hope it helps.

I have a 45litre from Halfords for the last 4 years. Gets used twice a year for 2 weeks each time.
Couldn't be happier. 24 hours before a trip gets plugged into the mains. Once on the move plugged into the boot 12v socket. Never left without power for more than 2 hours, or left taking battery power with engine off for more than 15 minutes. Always on 230/240 volts overnight or journeys end.
Used on car trips of 1500 miles to Italy and back every year.
I would recommend these coolboxes if you can keep power sustained
