Bought. Why do so many people here say brought when they mean bought?
Don't do it. Another gadget used once the gathers dust in the cupboard
I had to look up what Liquid Smoke is en.wikipedia.org/wik…oke just looking at what it's made of and how it's prepared gives you a sense that it could be toxic and could give you cancer and in the second section yep that's why it's banned in Europe.
bet they make great waffles but who really eats waffles that muchhttp://www.stupiditiz.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/fat-america-girl.jpg No thanks yanks
I did give heat still a good deal
Is it easy to make waffles? I've coeliac and waffles are one of my great misses, would be nice to make my own. (Next I need to make Chicago town pizzas, donuts and a double decker)
Would go for this except for the heart shape stupidness. Heat for the price.
Does it make baps & muff-ins also oO

Maybe the heart shape is a discreet health warning
The cheap Chinese non stick coating probably causes cancer.

The heart shapes are traditional Scandinavian, have my grandmas old non-electric one that used hearts. This type of waffle is different to the Belgium ones, they're thinner (& better imho) but don't expect Belgian style...traditionally you have these with jam and a crepe fraiche type thing
What's with all this Chinese cancer talk?
Just thought I'd share I was bought (ha brought one then!) one last time they where in Lidl, it had rust on the plates and was swapped out, I have never removed it from the box. Too much like hard work to make the batter & clean, making your own is obviously nicer than buying & heating a premade one, but for me the compromise is worth the lack of hassle...

jus buy Warburtons waffles and save £10 - now that's a hot deal
Not keen on the heart shape and also doesn't make deep enough waffles. Fair price though

Because the can't spell?
I bought a different Lidl waffle maker years ago for a similar price. It didn't last long but was very good for finding out if I really wanted a machine as there wasn't much to lose. When it broke I bought a better machine.
Someone here said that cleaning was a hassle. This is not true providing you read the instructions and oil the plates firsts. Ready made waffles really don't compare either.
No blue waffles please!

Although I do know which word I should use, I still tend to forget and write it as I say it, as with my accent I would say it with an r sound for both, if I would try and pronounce it properly I would sound like a posh *. This is not an English exam, so I think for most of us that are usually just typing in a hurry a few spelling or grammatical mistakes are likely.

Using the right word makes you sound posh? What accent is it that makes words sound like the wrong ones? Dumb?
There's a lot of woffle on this waffle thread. Well someone had to say it????????????????????????//

Been after a waffle maker for ages, so thanks for posting. Just picked one up, looks OK, maybe a little bit flimsy. Looking forward to trying it out. Potato, ham and cheese waffles tomorrow I think.
