Great gun, used for fence panels
I used one of these to paint my shed, it was super quick !
What are good things to use these on? Any good for interior doors?
Is it easy to clean after use?

How does this compare to this? amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1 I’m interested in painting some furniture and indoor doors and maybe also some walls? Can this work with paint? Or does it need to be diluted? Will b&q or wilko paint work?
So this is only for outdoors?

I have this and 2 other paint sprayers - reverted back to rollers as this is just too faffy for indoor emulsion.

Crikey, I'm not surprised. Thanks for posting. You have convinced me I don't need or want one of these now.
If you properly tape off and use a Liberal amount of plastic sheeting, it's brilliant. Nice and even distribution and takes minutes to do a coat on a 5 metre by 4 metre room. But if you're sloppy, or linger in one spot too long, you will get drips.

This is you though, not the gun.

You really don't. I've got one in my shed that I used for 5 minutes about 5 years ago.

whenever you see these sort of things on the shopping channels or a demo - you think brilliant I want / need one (not sure why but it will be handy). Never committed as I suspect you need a good one - the right paint and time and patience to learn to use it before painting anything important.

Although 40 quid...
Used this to paint a very long fence and shed. Would have taken three days by hand but this done it in a few hours. It’s really good but beware - lots of overspray, cover everything and don’t use near neighbours. Don’t use in the wind or it will blow everywhere. I used a large dust sheet for the ground and clipped one behind the fence where we had gaps. Also I’m sure you go through more paint but that could be me. Pretty easy to clean, wash well, then spray water through it until it runs clear.

No. Anything good for painting doors is at least £800.

These are only good for rough jobs like painting sheds etc

I used mine and I stopped 6 inches from the top of the fence panels to make sure I didn't have over spray. I forgot about the knots in the wood that fall our leaving holes.

Resulted in next doors car being covered. I was horrified but thankfully waterbased ronseal so came off with elbow grease.

If she wants the joker look then yes

Simple. Empty out any paint that's left and fill with warm soapy water. Fire the gun for around ten seconds until it runs clear.

Bob's your uncle.

Yes it will be fine, least save you having to clean out the cement mixer, you could also give her a all over tan wth old oak fence paint
I used one of the earlier Wagner's for waterproofing clothing faster & cheaper than cans, just bought 5 litres. Good for seamed areas & general coverage.

As with any spraying you likely need the largest bulldog clips going & a spare sheet of dpm / sheets to account for "all angles" of overslept to keep it contained.
Can I use to to respray my car?
I use hvlp for trim. Use high end paints so they can be thinned. Cheap paints don't water down well including Dulux. Get it right with no over spray and its good. I've got a xvlp £500 but also use my hvlp Haupon £70.
It's the same as the homeright.
2.5mm tip at 2mins through viscosity cup your good to go with gloss or satin .

As for thicker materials hvlp will spray it but will get overspray so watch out. Done many of fence with my wagner wall perfect no problem. No wind. Go steady. Don't shoot over the top. Do top with brush

Yes if your not bothered what it looks like - but use a good quality paint like Cuprinol
The thing with these, especially if using to do internal decorating, is the time it takes, and materials needed, doing the preparation, ie masking off, etc.
With time involved it's quicker to use a roller or brush.

Do I need to sand my car down first?
Haupon hvlp job I done. Satin. Factory finish with little over spray as you can see. Undercoat and top coat. Thin your paint people. Practice first. It's not the devils tool but it can be. Guess the above sprayer will work the same.

Their garden is higher up and they were “painting” the fence. Gaps, holes and a bit of wind, boom that’s what been done after... He paid for new gazebo canopy and for the cleaning of the conservatorium...
And, it actually sounds better than Wagner from Xfactor ;-)
