Great deal. I use the bigger version every 3 days to do my head and get a good 18 months out of it before it starts to go blunt.

I'm a hairy **** mainly in the body and not on my head.. I'll test it well!

mega xmas pressie sorted

Thanks to hotdeals Santa has started early this year!

Just on the look out for some clippers, so ordered cheers op.

£10 is about right for a non-rechargeable trimmer, I guess the deal comes from the little extras included, heat for those.

Reserved one, so is this meant to be more a body trimmer than hair clippers?

I have gone through so many cordless Wahl trimmers and I can tell you that power and battery life is so important. I would personally never buy one that runs on two AA batteries if I would be using it intensively. I would always pay more and buy a good NiMh one. I have experimented myself and tried to save money here and there - it's a false compromise. The extra power helps the blade to power through tough hair, they charge faster and last so much longer so great for a holiday.

A good example is this shaver amazon.co.uk/Wah…EZG ... The original version of this completely sucked IMO as it ran on a weaker nicad battery. When I saw the improved nimh one was released I took a risk and tried it again ... Wasn't disappointed. Wahl had finally after many years got the product right.

That's my personal opinion based on being a heavy user that requires something powerful enough to shave their head. This is a great deal if you just want something for general rather than heavy regular use. Just be warned. On that basis, a hot deal from me.

PS. just to add to my last post, to be fair I have never tried an AA Wahl trimmer so might be good. Just sounds like a massive hassle and potentially poor purchase to me, but might be wrong. Good luck either way.

Needed a replacement. Hot.

Just picked up the last one in my town, looks like a great piece of kit. Thanks poster it seems better than the £60+ ones ive used before!

Picked one up today, good price and seems like a good product. It's for beard, ears, nose and eyebrow hair rather than your actual hair for those who were asking. Anybody know how to access the battery compartment on the precision trimmer?

Cheers. Got last one at parliament st notts, still one at broadmarsh!

Reserved one at Solihull Sears Retail Park and then noticed it runs on AA batteries. Heat for what its is at this price but I agree with vishy about living with a battery powered trimmer.

Seems people on here are going to use the beard trimmer to shave there frank and beans !

Yeah agree, I am glad its got the batteries however since with some nimh batteries you can never find replacement parts and after a good year or 2 that nimh battery wears out anyhow, at least this way you can then plug in high powered separate rechargeable batteries with high power rating, these would last much longer.

If your using this even weekly, one can recharge those batteries easily and quick.

Am not sure how poster on page 1 said he's got the bigger version but for the head but it goes blunt after 18 months ?

Maybe a device exist to re-sharpen them not sure, I use the oil and brush and keep it clean after use and never see too much of an issue even after 5 years.

Thanks ordered 2 last night for home delivery , 2 x xmas pressents sorted , thanks op

Just reserved one. Great deal thanks

Its says 'cordless' but anyone that has owned similar with know its not really, esp for £10.

A tip for anyone buying one of these. I've found the batteries seem to drain by themselves in-between uses, so I started taking them out and now I get several months life out of them with weekly use.

Tried to reserve one locally and the site says "Order into Store Wed 6th - Mon 4th Nov" then when reserve it says order not placed

The dates are all confused and backwards.

Ta for the tip on Lithium Ion. I need a bigger shaver for my hair - not bother about shaving other bits (ooer). Think I prefer amazon.co.uk/BaB…FLH which is currently going for £40. According to camelcamelcamel, it's currently at the cheapest price. Still nearly four times more expensive than the original post.

No worries!

Yup I have got the Wahl version of the one you suggested for serious cordless clipping. I tend to stay away from babyliss as I find the blades extremely sharp and uncomfortable when directly in contact with the skin.

I tend to use the one I suggested in the link above for two reasons - I like to shave my head without a guard, and find that bigger clippers still have an adjustable built in guard that leaves a bit of hair behind. The one I suggested is really comfortable when I direct contact with the skin and gives a really short shave. Also, it's a great battery, is slim and great for travel.

Vishy01234 & Gazzie,

I have a pair of main's operated Wahl clippers - had these for moons, I then bought an AA battery powered trimmer - like Vishy say's not so good for prolonged use.... now between the two of you, you're tempting me to buy a pair of Lithium clippers - I don't even need em lol.
This site is seriously bad for my wealth.. .

Although these seem like a good deal , they are a false economy. The only Wahl worth buying are the main powered trimmers. In my experience forget Babyliss and all those other brands - Philips is the best shaving product. Even when the battery is low you can sneak a quick trim in and the battery does not suffer problems unlike these cheapo brands! Cold from me!
