Check out the Amazon ones, seem very good. I had one years ago and noticed they were a big improvement on previous ones which seemed to hurt me, pulling my hair or something!
This years must have item for men! (no seriously grab a pair before it's too late)...
ProcoJR30/03/2020 23:25

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07Q2FFG4W/Are these the same?

No. Yours is a premium version
Much prefer cordless ones , easier to cut hair in the garden , no clearing up !

pulling my hair or something!

You either used to short of a comb or the blades were blunt and you were running it through your hair to fast

Or no oil on the cutters. My other half is always asking if I have oiled them first before I cut his.

No way! Everything is growing till we're out of the woods
No stock currently available and they are predicting 7th April until available for delivery
Can anyone recommend decent scissors as an alternative?
Thank god somebody posted this, couldn’t find any affordable ones online, sold out everywhere! Thanks
As someone who's been clippering his own hair for years, spend a bit more and go for a cordless version. The cord is just so awkward
Don't bother! It's crap and you will only be wasting money.
Has anyone read the comments/reviews? I am quoting the second one here: "You get loads for your money and come's in a nice case to store, The only bad point is the DVD it not only don't show you much but it wont play on some chapters.
But this kit is well worth buying."

or 3rd: "They where really good quality and he loves them and he think they r good"

Read the rest. I wonder if fake reviews are being posted. Have the sellers asked someone in the Philippines to post reviews?

And women, ordered some thinning shears as well then I’m good to go!
Undeniably cheap, and while Wahl clippers are very good, IF you buy the professional models - the cheapest ones are crude and low powered and if you have thick strong hair (not me!) they all but rip it out, as one of my friends would testify! I had already got through two sets before I learned this.

Even when you are very thin on top like I am, they don't do the job well, and the clip-on guards are very feeble and easily knock off in use. I have had my Wahl Super Taper clippers over 11 years now and they're still great, although the guards could be better even on some of those better models.

One of those products where it's better to spend a good bit more if you plan to do a decent job.
I bought this couple of weeks. Works great. Decent price.
I have bought the Pro-clip and super taper pro models from wahl refurb .
Can't get any prices of refurbs on the wahl site today ? ?
Paid about £27 for super taper one mid Feb.

Just ordered a pair (clip and rinse model) from the Wahl website. First order 10% discount but might have to wait for delivery. For approx £25 only need to use them 3 times to break even (tenner at local barber for a cut).

I have 230V and 110V Wahl clippers bought during lock backpacking trips. Not sure the exact models but both are pretty much the cheapest you can get. Both have given excellent cuts for years now and still going strong.

You can even get double speed clippers if you plug the US clippers into a UK socket ;-) (If you are feeling lucky)
Ordered thanks. Will do until the barbers reopen

Speak to edward
On time ! Thanks op
Not cheap (£50ish +) but Phillips do a range of hair clippers that do more than a crew cut or just trim your sides. They adjust up to a length of of 40mm+ & work pretty well.

There is a Wahl one for the same price at Argos.

Before anyone says no stock available, there is in my local Sainsburys Argos in Newbury Park.

Never buy corded clippers...they are a pain to use. Always get cordless

I'm curious as to how one can clip his own hair without help from someone, as in how would you do back of the head for example. Any youtube videos would be helpful...

I bought the colour pro Wahl clippers for £23 from Amazon (now out of stock). I just used a hand mirror and the wall mirror to do the back of my head. It's a little bit tricky doing the back but you get there. I used a no 1 around the hairline at the back and ears. Then a no 2 further up. Then a no 3. Then a no 4 all over the top. There was a point when I thought I'd messed it up but it actually looks pretty good once you go through the graduations. You probably wouldn't tell the difference from a Barbour. I think I've had worse haircuts. Anyway, I say the difference between a good and a bad haircut is a fortnight.

Not for women?
No other way to do this with out taking credit?
Why would anyone need this? I thought we’d all agreed to go caveman style for this quarantine...
Does anyone know what the lowest grade are on these?
