I haven’t bought a keg for many years because they went flat after dispensing a couple of drinks anyone know if they have improved ? I like this brand of beer but am a bit wary of the keg
As this is an ale I suppose it’s fairly ‘flat’ anyway. Seem to remember buying a Staropramen Pilsner keg a couple of years ago that went flat pretty quickly. I might be wrong but perhaps these kegs lend themselves more to Ale than Lager? As you say might have improved now though

You get loads saying its all froth and loads saying it goes flat quick
I don't have either problem as long as I follow my usual routine, always chill keg in fridge for a full day(it takes a while to chill 5lt) and then open valve fully and let all gas out, drink it all in 1 session! I only open a keg if we having BBQ/party
1st glass can be a bit frothy but fine after that
Kegs can be good, but that wainwrights is poor imho.
Wainwright's isn't that great, £10 is decent deal £ for pint but be sure to follow the advice about chilling/opening the valve/closing it or you won't get many pints for your £ at all.

No. They still go flat. Waste of money. Me and my hick mates shoot them with air rifles and watch them bleed beer.
