Wairau Cove Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
This lovely Wine is on offer again, normally £10.49 to £5.24 (varies slightly).
This has to be my favourite white wine, I am normally a red wine drinker but when this goes on offer I am there! You can actually taste what it says on the back!
If you like white wine or just really nice wine give this a go before I buy it all lol

I've heard that Tesco is now using E.R.N.I.E to randomly generate RRPs.

If you ever try and get in a Tesco store you will see this is priced at £10.49 normally I can vouch for that so please get you facts right before you make silly little comment and vote cold something you you know nothing about.
Cheers for all the other stupid cold votes of people with the same stupid lack of knowledge.
I dont know why some of us bother, with so many negative idiots around.

I didn't vote cold, but after the insult I really ought to do so now. Considering that only Tesco sells it, they can make up any price they want. Had you monitored a range of wines over a long period, you would find that Tesco has increased the RRP of many wines just to be able to allegedly discount them. If you Google, you will find very little reference to this wine that is not from Tesco, suggesting there is no such wine producer, no such place as Wairau Cove, and it is almost certainly bulk wine with a random label stuck on it.

It may be nice, but a good deal....no.

Also consider that this forum is not a medium to boost your ego by getting lots of heat from your deals. Clearly people find this 'deal' unappealing, as £5.24 is about right or even slightly high for a generic sauvignon blanc.

What a load of **** you talk lol! I need say no more......

Considering Oyster Bay is usually priced just under £10, £5 should be rrp for this - its never a ten quid bottle of wine. I'd agree with spock - its similar to the Ogio that only they stock which is clearly over-rrp'd so they can discount it at 50% every so often.

Its nice but not a deal in my book so I ain't voting.

I do agree with you there, they are never worth the £10 price tag anyway but my point was also that this is a very nice wine and wether it's worth it or not it's still half price, so technically a good deal, but thank for not voting cold unnessesarily. The thing is most of the deals you get are not worth the RRP, they are over inflated in the first place, so with that in mind doesnt it make the vast majority of deals like this as well?
