Waitrose Cooking Red or Black cast Iron Griddle was £25.00 now £12.50

- Cast Iron
- Wash before first use
- Hand Wash Only
- Avoid use of harsh / abrasive cleaners or scourers
-This piece is made from cast iron - we recommend that the rim is oiled with olive oil or similar before putting away to prevent rusting
- If you do get some surface rust around the rim, simply wipe off with a sponge or cloth

Purchased one of these last year when it was half price. Certainly looks …Purchased one of these last year when it was half price. Certainly looks good and very heavy, but its useless. Cook anything with it and sticks like super glue to the griddle.


Follow this seriouseats.com/201…tml and you'll have little trouble with sticking apart from maybe skinless fish. I always cook meat with these and only troubled with sticking if the pan is not hot enough before putting the meat in and/or I try to turn the meat before it has seared well before the fat is starting to come out of the meat.
