Nice but at £7.99 lamb is still pricey. Excellent form chicken and park though.

The lamb price is for a whole boneless leg of lamb. So just meat no bone, which compares favourably when compared to leg of lamb prices which includes the bone.

Half price per kg, half price per joint. Whats the difference?

If you froze how long would it stay okay for?

except m &s are actually just a couple of stores across the country. cannot believe how hot it got given it's not even national.
Heads up for anyone going to the Billericay store.

There are loads of Chickens, they are all medium sized, ranging from £2.20 - £2.60

At first I thought they had no Lamb, and on asking the butchers counter they had no clue....

But I found it at the end of the last freezer isle away from the rest of the meat. Joints ranged from £8.50 - £11.00 nice size but still a bit pricey.

yeah cheapest angus beef I found was 1.84KG for £12 odd quid

The meat and fish counter staff at Billericay are nice, but not the sharpest tools in the box.

I too went to the Billericay store this morning, plenty of lamb, pork and chicken, but beef in limited supply. They are expecting a large delivery tomorrow, we shall see.

1.84KG for £12 odd quid for Aberdeen Angus beef joint sounds good value. If you ask the counter staff they cut it to your requirements.
Heat!
This deserves ultra heat

Nothing new there then!
A much better deal on lamb, imo, than the fat and bone Tesco shoulder
