Even for Pixar, this might be a first: an animated film that contains not only a fully realised world as photorealistic as it is full of wonder, but also the Gargantuan themes and visuals of 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, the stripped-down sad-clown pathos found in classic Buster Keaton comedies, and one of the most moving and simply unique love stories in a long time. Director Andrew Stanton kicked up the visual acuity of an already-stellar Pixar Animation Studios in 2003 with a reflective, refractive, color-shimmery realisation of the oceanic world of FINDING NEMO, which genuinely felt as though it spanned the entire earth. With WALL-E, Stanton replaces an apprehensively fishy estranged journeyer with a love-struck and curious robotic one, allowing the quest for eternal love to expand from a desolate, dust-covered, palpably polluted future Earth and into an even more mysterious abyss: the far reaches of outer space.

great film.

This is one of the must have blu rays. Buy it!

Got It

+1 cheapest I've seen

Watched this last week with my little one - yes, it is a brilliant film.

One of Pixar's best, if not the best. I dont understand the fuss over Toy Story 2 & 3 (1 was rather good when I saw it in cinema, the others got too samey for me).

I really enjoyed it but didn't think children would understand it too well.

Thats not to say it makes it worse at all. Super hot.

Probably true. Up was even worse in that sense. Totally adult imo, grim, up lifting...children won't understand the concept of ageing. An important animation I think (but nothing as serious or sad as Grave of the Fireflies). Who cares about those little brats anyway

My 3 year old daughter adores this film. I think its the lack of dialogue that appeals to her as the basic story is very easy to follow. I can also see how older kids would be easily bored by it!

Nice price, watched this and thought it was awfull. graphics are ace but no talking thro most of it like looking at a muted screen! toystory and Monsters inc all the way for me

Expired - code no longer working

Beautiful film. First twenty minutes some of the best movie making of all time...

Then use a Walkers Crisp code instead

I dont see what the fuss is about lack of dialogue in this film. This is a GREAT film and actually its nice to have the images telling the story for a change.

Don't listen to the naysayers. If you havent seen this film, it's a must see!

Brilliant film, by far one of the best animated films!

Definitely hot, a true masterpiece. The first half of this film rates as one of the greatest pieces of film history.

Not sure what you mean by this, as this fact makes this film even better in everyones opinion, including mine. Truely excellent film and also the best blu-ray I own.

He means he doesn't understand why the lack of dialogue bothers some people.
