Ahhh i remmebr them , the only thing as kids we looked forward to :P

Love a bit of Wallace & Gromit at Christmas time, have some heat!

Shame they stopped making them. I hear the BBC is cutting funding that much, Wimbledon could be axed
Could be time we all cut our license fee.

Thanks for posting.

It isn't the complete collection though. Not without Curse of the Wererabbit. Although it is on Netflix in HD, but not on Blu-ray.

so how can they complete when it's missing the last one

Wererabbit owned by a different studio I believe. So lots of wrangling before they can get agreement to put them in the same package... Shame as its much better than 'loaf' in my opinion.

This is also missing the 'cracking contraptions' shorts.

You can get cracking contraptions and wererabbit on a DVD together but not on bluray apparently.

You are aware that cuts in the license fee (or more accurately, below inflation increases) are responsible for BBC funding cuts? If you don't like that, then cutting the license fee seems a bit bizarre!

Because it was complete at the time it was released.

The BBC has no control over the making of any more films. Nick Park who produces Wallis & Gromit for his own production company has recently said that whilst he could make more films he is reluctant to without Peter Sallis (Last of the Summer Wine) who is 93 and very ill. Peter is the voice of Wallis.

Excuses by the BBC management. If the corporation stopped paying huge wages to top staff and celebrities there would be no need for the reduction in programs produced. BBC needs to utilise a similar policy to Japan's National Broadcaster (NHK) who have a similar way to fund their productions, but are financially enforced to continually use cheap new talent to keep their costs down.

More Cheeeeeseee Gromit?

HOT, bought the 20th Anniversary DVD edition for £4.67 minus 4.5% Quidco

(4 of the 1/2hr episodes but no Were Rabbit. Guess that's more of an Easter film!)

looking for some stocking fillings - just the job - have some heat

Cracking little find thank you

I'm confused - are you arguing that the BBC should be making new Wallace and Gromit shorts or avoiding expensive old talent?

Thanks op

Exactly also Ben Whitehead has voiced the character a few times since Sallis became ill, One could also view Wallace and Gromit as Aardman Animations 'Muppets' and allowed them to move on to other more lucrative projects.

Just seen this in Sainsbury ' s for £5

Exactly, the end of the BBC being advert free could be soon. They can fund crap like eastenders while good TV programmes are axed.

Ah, it all makes sense now. You're one of those "the world revolves around me" types. You don't like Eastenders (a point I can agree with you on) so it's therefore bad and they shouldn't make it.

And it also makes sense that you like making arguments. There is a wide range of money wasted on useless programmes on the BBC, I just pointed out the worst. The amount of millions wasted on poor djs on radio one is also bad in my eyes. Go on, tell me you think Sarah cox and crew are worth the millions they're paid LOL

Get this guy to do a new episode.........

I certainly do - but I don't argue for no reason. I merely don't like it when people like you dictate what TV/films/music are good and what are bad and then insist the BBC is run according to your tastes. I don't like Eastenders, but who are you to dismiss the millions who do? They pay their license fee as well - are they not allowed anything in return?

I do like "Sarah Cox and crew" though - not that I know where you're getting your wage figures from.

I would like to add that I bought this for myself on blu-ray last year, so no zzzzzzzzzzz's necessary my good sir. I was just merely expressing my British-borne right to moan
